I need some help. I saw this movie, this really lame movie, and I can't remember much about it other than a few things.

It involved this guy that was taking pills or some kind of drug (I think) and was making himself stronger, smarter, faster, etc. But he started having adverse affects. He could hold his breath underwater for like 5 mins, and then he woke up the next morn and had gills. Then he grew eyes on the back of his head. Then his body developed a jellyfish-like defense system and his whole body turned into..um...a...jellyfish thing.

Anyway, I can't seem to remember waht it was, and it's totally killing me. I'm assuming whatever it was, it most likely was a "made for tv movie", or "original hbo" thing. Maybe even an Outer Limits episode or something.

Please help

Oh and another one. When I was little (early 80's)I saw part of this movie--it was REALLY weird. The only parts that I can remember are: This lady was swimming in a pool and she was drowning or something. A guy (who you really couldn't see) tried to give her the pool cleaner handle to pull her out, but instead started poking her with it. The camera angle was from her point of view and she was underwater. The other scene I remember is, this guy was upstairs, tied to a chair. There was this little dog/lion/cat thing that didn't have a face, just hair-and I think one eye in the middle of the face. Its body was shaved and the tip of the tail had hair on it. The animal was orange/brown. Anyhow, this animal went into the room where the guy was tied up and ate his face off. All I really remember is him screaming and when they showed his face again, it looked like a cheese pizza.

Just one of those things that I've remembered my entire life. Please help--these are killing me, actually the second one is more important.

It sounds like Altered States to me too...was the guy doing all these tests on himself and it kind of seemed like an acid trip at times? If so, that's probably it.

It just felt that this movie was newer than that. Also, I think I remembered the guy younger, like 18 or 19.

I'm just gonna have to watch that movie again.

No guesses on the other movie tho?
That one has been the hardest to explain and people think Im crazy

Sorry, it doesn't sound familiar at all. Sounds like some type or horror movie and I don't know those all that well. Is there anything else you remember about it?

there was an episode of tales from the crypt where a deaf safecracker got an operation for better hearing and ended up with superhuman hearing but an owl's beak at the end.

okokokok my gf sez it was an episode of the Outer Limits.

Now the other one, that's all I can remember about it. No other details.

The other movie is very important, please, Ive been trying to figure this out for like 20 years.

Ive never seen it again, I DIDNT dream it either.

It was an OUTER LIMITS episode. The scientist creates these "Nano-bots" that are injected into a person and they repair damage or fix diseases in a person. Well the scientist's project needs funding and he decides to inject himself.

And in usual fashion, this go wrong. The nano-bots keep multiplying, they build him more ribcage muscles, gills, etc until he can't even kill himself. He has a guy give him electricity shock treatment to short-out the nano-bots, but it's gone to far and he finally dies.

jeez, my synopsis sound terrible

Sorry man...I got nothing on the second one unless it was a horror movie where blood came out of the shower head while the chick was showering. I'm still trying to figure out that movie...

FYI - The Outer Limits episode you mentioned about nano bots is based on a short story/book by Greg Bear called "Blood Music"

Unfortunately that's not it....This movie is pretty old. Like early 80's old. I'll try and set the scene:

While her husband is downstairs with a beautiful woman-friend of theirs, she goes and takes a shower. But there is something else in the house watching them all through monitors/or something like that. During the shower, blood starts to come out of the shower head and she can't escape the shower because the glass shower doors won't open.

At my young age, this scene messed me up good, and I did not watch any more of the movie. Gave me nightmares and I would continuously check the shower doors to make sure they would open whenever I took a shower

Later on my father had told me another scene when the couple's mother came to visit and she was in a heated pool and the "thing" watching turned up the heat and pretty much boiled the lady to death in the pool.

This has stumped me for longer than I can remember.
