Need help with a movie quote!! (SOLVED!!) thanks the_marq
This has been eating away at me for weeks and it just popped back into my head today. It's from a movie I think I saw somewhat recently. I think its also from a somewhat new movie. The quote is:
"whats in a number? Maybe nothing's in a number, maybe a number is just a number..." I think there is something said after that but I don't know what it is. Can anyone here help me out? This has been driving me insane for weeks now.

Now it's got me too. I've never heard the quote before, but I get really annoyed when I can't find something after searching for a few minutes. This is the Internet, dammit!

Wrong and wrong. Thanks for playing, but NEXT!! I'm about to the point of calling the video store and getting a list of all the DVD's I've rented within the past 6 months.

I don't even know what the hell "Lord of Illusions" is. In fact... I'm not entirely convinced that you just didn't make it that up.... ok... kidding. Not that. Not anything Matrix, not 5th E, not True Romance. Keep the suggestions coming guys!!
*edit... Lasareth... I made the call.*

Not Spiderman. I am not 100% certain that its not Memento. For some reason I'm thinking that the quote is from the end of a movie and its not at the end of Memento. Not any of the list above. Maybe I should watch Memento again.

I know this isn't helpful, but it reminds me of a quote from Freud: "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar"
Is it possible you've misquoted it, and that's why you're having so much trouble finding the source?

..... I'm sorry Mr.Deflok. Friends? Friends. The internet sucks. Why is it within 2.67 seconds I can get free college sluts dying to fuck me, a free DVD player, a trip to Jamaica, or some free Viagra, but we can't fucking find a stupid quote from a stupid movie?

I was watching 21 Grams last night and Sean Penn's character was going on and on about numbers. I was just waiting for him to say this line, so I could come back and tell you that I had figured it out. Unfortunately, if he said it, I missed it.
Sorry.
