Anyone watching Clone Wars (micro-series) on Cartoon Network?
If only episodes I and II were as good as this animated mini-series! My favorite is chapters 12 and 13.
Star Wars Clone Wars the Epic Micro-Series |
i just wish it was longer than 5 mins an episode.
BUT it does show that the whole lucas story isn't all that much, it's really a visual thing IMO |
why does everyone always bag on episodes one and two? i thought they were just fine. people had these preconceived notions on how they were going to be, and just because they weren't people got to say they suck?

i agree moon.
I've been playing Ep 1 and 2 for two weeks at work for 8 hours a day and i'm not paying attention so much to the story, but VISUALLY it's freakin' incredible.... I'll say it again, the story isn't shakespeare, Ep 4-6 were equally camp and cheese from that point of view. back to the thread, when they said season 2 I thought it was going to be full on... but no. 5 mins. Neilson doesn't track 5 mins. 15 mins is the minimum. |
I think the series was flippin awesome. I just got done downloading and watching episode 20, and if General Grevious (sp) looks and moves anywhere near as fluidly as he does in the cartoon, then we're gonna be in a for a treat.

I have purposely not watched any of them. Im waiting for them to come out on dvd so that I can sit down and watch them all at once.

with and without commentary. |
I just don't understand the 5 minute thing. :(
I mean, they're good, but 5 minutes just really isn't enough time to get into it for me. If Lucas had made his movies with Jedi as cool as in the cartoon maybe the movies wouldn't have hurt as much to watch. |
All 20 chapters of The Clone Wars are on tonight on Cartoon Network.
They start at 7:00 EST. Unfortunately, there are Teen Titan episodes to wade through in between each group of CW chapters. |

I'm really enjoying this series. They're much better than the new movies imo.

Instead of channel-flipping to find something else to watch in-between eps. of Clone, I actually watched the Teen Titan episodes. I looked beyond the cuteness factor, and found myself enjoying the humor and action of them. Previously, I had only seen the one episode, found it wasn't like the comic books and dismissed it out of hand. Now, I've seen the error of my ways. ;) The show has imagination and style. |
