Tinto Brass

Hey everyone...thanks to the wonders of p2p filesharing (don't ever say it didn't make people interested in things they never would have known about) I've discovered the great erotic films of Tinto Brass. You may have heard his name as the director of Caligula, but I'm more interested in his non-english films. Problem is, when I downloaded them to check them out, they're.....not in english! So, I was hoping someone might know where to rent any of his non-english films (Blockbuster doesn't carry them of course) or buy them in Region 0 or 1 format. I'm particularly interested in...

Trasgredire (2000) aka Transgression (2000) aka Cheeky (2000)
Starring: Yuliya Mayarchuk

and

Monella (1998) aka Frivolous Lola (1998)
Starring: Anna Ammirati

Hopefully someone out there 1) has a clue what I'm talking about and 2) can help me find these. I mean, the direction is very stylistic and the women are beautiful, but I'd be so much happier if I understood what the heck was going on!

I know some of his films are dubbed over to english. I've rented Frivolous Lola and "Paprika", also starring Anna Ammirati, they were in english. I, of course, rented them in Sweden, so I can't guide you where to find them. They are out there somewhere, happy hunting!

lol yeah, I figure they've got to be in Europe....America's a different story though

Every site I find selling any of his DVDs (at least the ones I'm interested in) doesn't have them in the right region (damn those regions!)

eh? How do you do that? I don't have an actual DVD player either. I have a PS2 and I have a DVD-ROM. IIRC the region on the DVD-ROM can be changed but only a very limited number of times like twice or something

Of course, I also made the assumption that the DVDs made for Europe would have english subtitles. Pretty presumptuous of me now that I think about it. Do you think they would?

there is a way to make your PS2 region-free, but I don't know how.

Well, since Great Britain lies in Europe, i think it's pretty safe to presume European DVDs have english subtitles.
