Tripping The Rift; pilot airs on March 4th on SciFi

"You Purple Bastard!"

Hopefully the series will be as funny as the original short film. The series pilot airs on SciFi on March 4th at 10:30pm.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any links to stream the original clip, but here's a few sites where you can download it:

"Hello, Chode!"
"Faggot clown powers, indeed."

I can't wait to see what they do with this series. I'm hoping it will remain as good as the original..

When I first saw the promo airing on Sci-Fi, I thought, "No WAY, they can't do something like that on cable"..and the more I htink about it, the more I'm thinking it'll be way toned down from the original short, which was so damn funny.

But I'm still hoping it'll be just as good.

Well, South Park was also toned down from the original, but it succeeded. I've already set my TiVo up to capture TTR.

Glad you posted those DL links, I'd been looking to get the uncut original for a while now.

I saw it way back when Sci-Fi ran that Star Wars short-film thing, and it's freakin' hilarious. Here's to hoping they don't wuss out on the humor.

Has anyone watched this yet? I thought it was pretty funny and they managed to keep some of the "adult content" . I'll keep watching!

I saw it, and it was pretty good. Gotta say that for me it's the only sci-fi produced show since Farscape that floats my boat. And FYI, it's got an encore on tonight.

Just saw it. Good, not as raunchy as the original clip, but that's basic cable for ya. But overall, definitly going on the "must watch" list.

Season 2 is coming back on August 3 on Sci-Fi. I didn't think it would make it, but I guess they had some time to fill on the channel. What the hell, it's half-decent T&A if nothing else.

I'm was surprised to see the show made it to a second season. After the first few episodes, it really went down hill. Now that I've watched the first episode of the new season, it seems that their solution is to add more T&A. Which is not a bad thing!

Loved the first series, looking forward to seeing the second.I reckon it's like a blend of farscape and red dwarf.
