Does anyone else watch this show on FOX?

Im sorry, but for some reason i am addicted to watching it, not cuz its that good of a show, or the amazingly beautiful people on it, i dont know im just addicted.

The 3 main girls are absolutely drop dead gorgeous and i get very jealous of the lifestyle that these teenagers live, prolly just cuz imm a drama queen and addicted to drama.

I enjoy the show very much, mostly because of the ridiculous story line and beautiful women. What more do you need in a show?

There is another thread on here about the OC just so you know. I too watch it religiously partly because I live there and mostly because its addictive cheese factor :D

all the chicks on that show are hot

I watched the first few episodes, but I think it comes on when something else I watch is on...and y'know, NONE of the cast look like they're actually in high school...I found that kind of amusing.

Originally I thought this show was going to be about how to overclock your puter components..... I was mistaken !!

Everytime I watch the O.C. I say I hate it and it sucks yet, every Wed. I'm there watching it! I think it has subliminal brainwashing in it.:crazy:

The only reason to watch that show is the hot chicks.

Tomorrow's episode is really good. The show is getting back on track now that Oliver is gone. I'm so addicted that I can't wait until Wednesdays to watch it. I download it on Monday nights since the show airs Mondays in Canada.

Keep that up, and I'll call you a therapist. Seriously, bri... you need help on this one. With the exception of "barbecutionist" (alternate spelling?), Seth is nothing but a skinny, curlyhaired, postpubescent highschool-wanna-be with an engorged vocabulary. Besides, he mumbles too much :)

OK, now let's really get to the heart of the matter.

How long will it take for Julie Cooper to have slept with EVERY character on the show?

ok so far we can assume jimmy, calab and luke (luke is a safe assumption, right?).

I think ryan is in the bag -- basically he's just following in luke's footsteps anyway so as soon as sandy comes out of the closet we can count on ryan making a little trip across the street.

kirsten is OBVIOUSLY warming up to julie -- i think after sandy and jimmy get with the lovin she may need some comforting as well.

clearly seth will not be sleeping with her since he's mine and i won't share.

Why does Sandy need to come out of the closet so that Ryan and Mrs. Coop can get it on? Seriously... and I really have a hard time imagining those bushy eyebrows on a gay man. Besides, Luke's dad's gay already..you can't have two on the show. That would just be wrong ;)

I'm gonna bet that whoever the old Coop gets with next will be part of a threesome. Maybe one of those women from the Spa.

And bri, you can have seth... apparently he's dangerous in the sack. Bring bandages.

Brianna, I am humbled, humiliated and mortified by my horrendous faux pas. Please, accept my heart-felt apology.

I finally figured out tonight why I really like this show [beyond killing an hour watching hot girls]. While the main story lines are rather pedestrian, the actual dialog is some of the wittiest, crispest and most real written for TV.

am i the only one who really hates the shows theme song?

It's worse now that they've made the song longer (or, perhaps, used more of the song).... I didn't mind it before, but it's a little whiny I must admit.

I think the appeal is two fold

first you have the draw for the teenage crowd: hot people in cute clothing having big drama in their life (basically just a soap opera for the 13-17 year old crowd).

secondly you have the appeal for everyone else: sarcasm.

The writers on the OC have done a great job of making the show appealing through mocking itself. the minute the show starts taking itself too serious it's ratings go down (see the whole oliver plot line for proof of this).

Ya i love the show too. Oh to say something about an ealier post, Mischa Barton just turned 18. She was only 17 when the show aired, so they are not all over 20.

yeah too bad she looks about 45.

embarassingly one of the best shows on today. i have to have my OC fix every wednesday or I suffer from withdrawal symptoms lmao. It's sad. I get pissed whenever they pull those three week hiatus things; it's just pointless!

I have to admit though that I liked the show better when Ryan fought in every episode and had to fight for marissa's attention and try to win her over b/c that's what made the show interesting; not to mention he's kinda a pansy these days. And wtf happened to Luke? He's a major fruitcake now. Ever since his dad was found out to be gay, he's become a huge nerd. They need to re-work luke and ryan into their old characters. And Seth is confused. It's all about ANNA! She's the right one! Summer is FOINE as hell but she ain't nothing but a booty call; Anna is more girlfriend material. Next week's episode looks good when she is about to leave for Pittsburg and he tries to stop her. He needs to make up his mind! AHHHHHHHHHHHh.

...but she's built like she's 11. (okay, okay...i shouldn't be a hater; she just doesn't do it for me)

Thank god the OC brought me back from my long draught of teen-television after the literal and figurative demise of Dawson's Creek and 90210. My wife may never let me off the hook for DC and the OC.

The OC is much like a combination of 90210 and Three's Company.. beautiful people are involved, and there's always some sort of misunderstanding.

While I agree with the Anna comments (she's still too good for Seth, brianna... I'm sorry), I rather like Luke now. Yeah, he's slightly pussified, but at least he's a believable character now. Still, there have been very few utterances of "welcome to the OC, bitch" lately. Maybe Summer should have used that one on Anna. :D

I don't like summer better than anna -- in real life i would tottally rather be friends with anna, and if i were a lesbian i'd be all about the anna hotness (though really costumes pushes the "the 80s are BACK!!!" with her way too much). unfortunatly, anna's character is boring right now -- the whole time that her and seth were dating was a huge yawnfest. so i'm pro-summer for the good of the show.

i'm addicted to this show too. and i think Marisha's mom, Julie Cooper, and Seth's mom (forgot her name) can be quite hot sometimes.. can you say MILF? wahaha =D

oh and imo, Anna is hotter than Summer..

maybe we can get cinamax or somethign to pick up "The OC -- After Dark"...

I do fear that some of these girls look better with their clothes on (what clothes they wear, that is). Anna, of course, would do well with a wardrobe change, no matter what it was.

Plus, they could work that "spa-gossip-session" theme back in with some regularity. Whee....
