What mutant power would you like to have?
For me, I would have to go hands down with Magneto.
However, if we exclude the most powerful mutant in existence, I would have to choose the mutant ability to control Chi or life energy (some anime series are based on this). If you could do this, you could create energy fields, use telekinesis, exert your energy to fly, etc. It's great stuff. Anyone else have something they'd like? preferably no combos.

yea touch choice, Magneto has awesome powers because what now a day isnt metal in, Prof X has the absolute mind control, Mystique with the shape shifter, or night crawler with teleporting. those would be the more interesting/fun ones to have I would choose mystique more than likely

I'm a powerbeast, I sure would like to have wolverine's powers, regeneration must be oh so cool :-)
really, he is totally my style, except I don't regenerate, don't have a amandium (or how is it called) skeleton and don't have knives coming out my knuckles, but if you don't look at that, He is totally ME :-))))

i think my favorite mutant power (although not in X2) was a guy named Longshot's. unconcious luck manipulation. pretty hard to beat for overall usefulness and just kicking ass in general.
although maybe his power wasnt' technically a mutation anyhow. hmmm... back to helium vault to check old comics...

And I dunno having Apocalypse's powers would be cool but that damn near god like right there. Nightcrawler would be cool. Can he shape shift? I think I recall when I was younger him shapeshifting. Maybe I am wrong. His mom IS Mystique. Having Magnetos powers would be nice except the cool thing about Magneto is just him himself. I would only want his powers if I could be HIM. I guess when it all boils down I would want Spider-mans powers (from the movie where he can generate his own web.) Wouldn't mind the power to fly on top of that.

I would have to go with Franklin Richard's powers: the ability to alter/create reality. He can do just about anything (or he could I think he lost them when he created the another universe).
The power comsic would be cool as well. (Silver Surfer) Also, Wonder Man was cool. I think he was composed of pure energy so there was no way to destroy him.

Definently Mystique's shape-shifting, hands down.

It'll never be in a Marvel Comic book, because it doesn't fit into a linear storyline or a heoric mold, but the power I would like would be to return to any point in my past and start over from there as often as I like. Kind of like voluntary Groundhog Day.
In one way, it's eternal life, in another it's total freedom from consequences.

Now, if I have to pick one mutant's powers, Jean Grey. Massive TK, with TP, and eventual PK? That'd do nicely.

I wouldn't mind having Longshot's powers, but that wasn't really a mutation, he was created with them...Multiple Man's powers wouldn't be too bad, either...being able to creat duplicates of yourself at will could be lost of fun.
All in all, I would just like to be able to fly, with or without wings.

It's all about telekenetics, even minor. As Rising Stars has shown, all you need is to move something very small to block off the blood flow to the brain, killing someone instantly and silently, granted it's not a Marvel comic book, but it's still a great idea.

Well this is going to sound like a complete geek.
I'd take forge's power of invention. I mean, he can just think about some major problem, goes into his workshop, and bam its built. Want a Mach 5 troop transport with vertical takeoff and landing capability... Ok, give me 20 minnutes... Want a noiseless hammer drill? Noiseless Air Gun? Levitation device? Dude that would be so cool. I would build anything that i could ever think of. Yes, im an engineer in real life. Duh.

my favorite X-man is archangel, but mainly cause of his story and the way Apocolypse altered him.
If i could have any power id have to either go with Magneto, or Colossus. Also to be as fast as Quicksilver would be fun too!

My own mutant power
I don't know if this has been created but I would like the power to absorb DNA from anything I consume.
Any animal or vegitable that is eaten I would be able to absorb the DNA and add it to my own thus taking on various aspects of that creature. A great side effect would be to add Mutant DNA to my own and I would have their powers. This would be restricted only by the availability of that mutants DNA. Blood donations from Professor X's School For The Gifted would set that straight. Uber Power I know but how cool. My name would be Wraith. A small power would be to have Psycho-Directional Gravity, or able to create gravity fields. That kicks ass with Magneto ... lol. |

There's nothing wrong with superhuman attractiveness, baby.
From Marvel's site: can psionicly affect probability fields which, when his motives are pure, causes good luck for him (at the expense of bad luck occurring elsewhere). Nasty!!! http://marvel.com/universe/Longshot

I think I might change my mutant power to Gambit's. The ability to instantly turn potential energy into kinetic energy is just too sweet.
