I saw a commercial advertising this show, a few days ago. I vowed then that I would do everything in my humanly powers to miss it, and I did. It seems to me that everytime I say to myself "Self, the media cannot possible sink to a level any lower than this.", they go and prove me wrong. To me, it is nothing more than sensationalistic tripe.
I can honestly say that I am the only person I know of that has never watched a single episode of Survivor, Fear Factor, or any of these so-called "match-up" shows. That is a distinction that I take immeasurable pride in.

lol I watched this because it comes on before my latest vice, My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance. But yeah this was... interesting... the cute asian (I think?) dwarf who actually doesn't even have stereotypical "dwarf" features was ruthless! LoL... but it's weird because this is just a two-episode show... It premiered last night and the last episode is next week. Weird.

I saw the commercial for it and began screaming in rage. Turns out my gf's best friend's mother(follow all that?) was the dude's teacher in school -- the friend was of the opinion that it was money and fame, so good for him. Myself, I'll stick with Peter Dinklage. Make your acting career without exploiting your stature.

After last night, I'm about to give up on reality TV. Not only did I have to catch some of this show, and thought it was horribly exploitive and just not fun to watch, but I was watching the last bit before Big Fat Fiance, which I've thought was really funny. Until last night. It wasn't really funny, and was even more painful to watch the family really struggling. It's one thing to enjoy the "bride's" discomfort at the fiance, because she's brought it on herself. The family sure didn't ask for this. I feel sorry for them, and for the little people who probably think this is a great opportunity but are being used for America's amusement.
