Well yeah, Rudy needed to go. He weakened the team imensley, even if he was such an amazing guy. I really like the Boston Rob guy, I also like Lex ..if either one of those guys won I wouldn't be mad. Also Johnny Fairplay was my favorite player..of all time. I wish he made All Stars.

Koas... i noticed that too... i felt bad for Rudy... Jeff Probst was right... he's 75... and was kicking it a bunch of people less than HALF his age...
if Rupert had been smart... he and Rudy should have gone to Ethan and tried to sway Ethan to vote off one of the girls... Spoiler: Jenna leaves next... and then Rob C. that is what my "sources" tell me... Possible Spoilers above. Daval Last edited by Daval; 02-13-2004 at 07:39 AM.. |

I hope Jenna leaves next -- I can't stand her! I like Ethan and wish he would stop being unnerved and get with the program. He and Rupert forming an alliance would be very smart. Their only hope, though, is to win the next immunity challenge.

My money's on Lex just because he seems so damn cool.
The only other season I've seen was last season with Johnny Fairplay and Rupert. Hopefully this season will keep me just as entertained.

How did Rudy weaken his team? I don't see that at all. They won the reward challenge. If they won that, then how is Rudy a liability? They lost the immunity challenge, yes, but it was most certainly not because of Rudy. Am I missing something here? |

On an different subject, did anyone else think that the last immunity challenge was all screwed up? None of the tribes followed the rules. 1) Empty the boxes from the boat. 2) Bail the water out of the boat. 3) Get in the boat and paddle back to shore. Two tribes dumped the boxes out of the boat. Two tribes used the floating platform to empty the water out of the boat. Two tribes did not paddle back to shore in the boat. |

Wow, I never expected tonights episode to be so emotional or even poignant. Good for Jenna- being true to her gut instinct and admitting her error before it became a regret.

It was a good episode, by all accounts. There were some amusing moments, especially Richard with the shark. I felt sorry for Rupert and his team when they were falling apart. And of course there was Jenna.... Still, I have to ask what the hell she was doing there in the first place. To be honest I don't buy it, its just too convenient, her mom's condition must have degraded and they told her. It sure as hell was not a vibe she got in the middle of the night.

Man, I don't even know what to think about tonights episode. I'm kinda dissapointed, I like watching the challenges and they didn't run the immunity challenge. They should have run the challenge anyway and turned it into a reward challenge or something. It's sad anyway that Jenna's mom passed away, rest in piece.
I also would have like to see how Ruperts shelter held up, and how dry they stayed in that storm, since the other tribe was miserable. |

Good episode? Yes.
I'm afraid to ever look at this thread again for fear that more episodes will be ruined for me. ~springrain.....I hope you enjoy ruining people's fun, because that's just what you did. Post edited by Daval - there is no need for profanity and flaming.

First off, although I don't like having things spoiled for me either, I don't believe there is a reason to be rude. I'm sure springrain has figured out that she shouldn't give away information in the future.
Second, as much as I don't like Jenna, she truly touched my heart last night. I found myself crying at the end of the show. I am not going to second guess if she had resource or not. I believe very strongly that when you love someone deeply that you have an emotional connection -- even across miles. Third, I do not like Rupert nearly as much this season as I did in the past. He is way too bossy. Too bad about the shelter -- but he should have listened. I'm not sure who I want to win right now although I agree that I really like Lex.

OK folks. This is a thread about a TV show. In any threads about possible shows there is always the risk of spoilers.
What we can do is all make an effort to use the new spoiler flags that Hal graciously installed several months ago. You can see other threads on the use. But, what Springrain did I don't see as a spoiler, i see that as more speculation and rumour. She just happened to be right.

Call me naieve, but I don't think anyone told her. I think she knew when she left it was the wrong decision.
Also, isn't it a given in a thread about Survivor that we would uhm, discuss... Survivor? Spoilers happen. If you haven't seen the show for the week and don't want to risk a spoil, hold off on reading the thread.

Anyone watch last nights episode? Everyone getting slammed by those huge puzzle pieces was classic.
So, what's going to be the SHOCKING TWIST? They'll probably shake up the tribes.

Oh the immunity challenge was so hilarious....I actually had a feeling the ROB team would lose the challenge, because they are the only tribe that hasnt lost anyone, and lets just say the brains are on the other tribes. I have no idea about the shocking twist but I'm anxious to find out. I can't imagine a tribe shakeup, cause thats not really shocking.

The alt.tv.survivor newsgroup has been humming with rumors that someone who works on the show was fired after providing Jenna with information about her mother's condition. This disgruntled employee is supposedly the author of a list that purports to give the exact order of elimination, all the way to the finals. So far the list is three for three -- including the reason Jenna would leave the game. Still just rumors though. Here's the link: http://www.suntimes.com/output/roepe...ws-roep19.html |

Initially I thought Ethan would be voted out, and I didn't want that cause Ethan is a cool guy. I met him when I went on a road trip in Denver last summer, he was really nice, so I hope he goes all the way. Still, I would rather they vote someone useless like Jerri or Kathy instead of Hatch, cause Hatch was so very entertaining. Oh well, other than that I was cracking up at the immunity challenge at those hard hits.

This thread was probably not a good idea if there are people who taped the show and are planning to watch it later or are in a different time zone. People are gonna be pissed you just revealed who got the boot (They freaked out on ~Springrain for posting who was getting booted from just a rumor). Maybe a PM to a mod to delete this thread would be a good idea.
Just trying to save ya some grief...but I can understand why you would be so excited to make the announcement. I wanted him voted off too Last edited by Kaos; 02-26-2004 at 06:57 PM.. |
