Just so you know, the 3rd one isn't that great. I mean, I'm a HUUGE fan of the movies. I went and bought advance tickets for the 2nd and 3rd ones hoping that they would be good, but no. It just doesn't live up to the expectations of the first one. I thought that the 2nd one wasn't that great either, and the 3rd was even more disappointing to me. That's only my opinion though...
Bad ending...thats all I'll say...

I loved Reloaded and Revolutions...I honestly believe they're better than the first one. I don't want to start an argument though, so I won't go past that. All Matrix arguments can be held on the Revolutions thread which already has like a million replies. The search feature is working now, so let's use it!
One thing I will mention is that the Reloaded DVD sucked. I hope the Revolutions one is better. The Matrix fanatics want more material! Those that absolutely loved the trilogy want to know everything about it, and DVDs serve that purpose very well. Hell, I'd pay extra for the Revolutions DVD to have extra content. -Lasereth

Haha, was waiting for Lasereth to chime in! Pesonally I loved Revolutions, more than Reloaded but I'm not too sure if I liked it more than Matrix 1.
Actually I though Reloaded was pretentious in it's execution but was brilliant in its plot. |

Revolutions was awesome - don't listen to the naysayers, especially if you liked Reloaded
As for the DVD, it better have more features than the last one

I still haven't seen the 3rd installment yet becuase of all the mixed reviews. I heard is was awesome then I heard it was a let down and waste of money. I am a huge fan of the movies but I am not sure if I should rent it or buy it. Still Confused!?!?!

The easiest way to tell if you'll like Revolutions is if you liked Reloaded. Most people wanted the sequels to be like the first one, and they simply weren't. I won't argue with that. But if you enjoyed Reloaded, then you'll love Revolutions (I.E. if you want to know what happens to the Zion inhabitants, you'll love it). The entire series is not about the program known as the Matrix -- it's about the survivors of the Matrix, and how they are trying to be freed. That's exactly what the sequels portray. -Lasereth

i thought the ending was waaaaaaaaaay too open, i would have liked to see more closure, considering they say that there will be no more movies. . . . unless they lie

I thoroughly enjoyed Revolutions. You just have to be a pretty good fan of the series to enjoy it (in most cases). People who wanted more "matrix stuff and bullet time" will be dissappointed. Revolutions is pure sci-fi. I love it. The ending brought a tear to me eye. If you honestly care for the characters then you will love the movie. If you want more fighting, car crashes, and guns, then don't watch.

Dont worry they will probably rerelease it in a box set in a year or so, so that you all get to buy it again. And it might have some extra features (besides the convienent box).

even though the ending was a little bit lacking overall it was a very entertaining movie. some people tend to overcriticize movies and that takes away from it's main purpose, which is to entertain. I watch movies based solely on entertainment value, and revolutions did that
