Law and Order
Any of you guys/gals watch the show?
I love watchin all 3 of their series. It's my favorite police-DA show on tv and i try to catch as many episodes as i can. i really dont see how CSI is gettin bigger ratings than Law and Order when L & O seems more addicting. Any thoughts on the show?

I watch it from time to time. Generally, as a time-killer until something else comes on. It's an enjoyable show, though, just not quite my style.

I watch the new ones on Tuesday (SVU), Wednesday (original), and Sunday (CI) and I catch as many as I can on USA or TNT.
One of the best TV shows (non-cartoon) ever made. Great series and nice interaction as you can see the characters personal life intermingled into the show as well. Law and Order ROCKS!!!

I watch it occasionally, but my father pointed out that after you watch enough episodes it's pretty formulaic. 25 minutes of police work, 20 of courtroom, 5 more police, 5 more court. You can always guess when the twist is coming, if not exactly what the twist will be. I guess after 300 episodes you get in kind of a groove.

LO is old. My Dad watches every single friggin show as much as he possibly can. The days cops saying smart ass remarks every single time the show fades out to another scene is so 80s. I mean comon, alot of the material the show uses is just plain old and boring and out of date. CSI is more modern and shows how evidence from crime scene are taken and analyzed and used for court. Law and order would be a good show if the actor aren't trying to be bad cop/good cop, saying stupid shit all the time when the scene fads in and out.

I watch Law & Order: Elevator Unit.
Nah, I like the original L&O and L&O:CI The latter, mostly because the storyline with the asperger criminal and that they hinted that our main man might have asperger. I prefer CSI though.

I love it. I've yet to see an episode that didn't interest me. My favorite's the original, followed by Criminal Intent and then SVU (which seems too narrow to me, theme-wise). My favorite characters are Jack McCoy, that Adam guy two head DA's ago, and the male detective from Criminal Intent.
I gotta watch Criminal Intent more often.

I really like the Special Victim Units one. Try to catch that whenever I can.
Btw, does anybody know the title of the episode of when Alex (the lawyer) fakes her death in the end? I've been trying to search on their official website, but there are way too many episodes to go through. If anybody knows, please post title. Thx. |

I used to watch the original one religiously. Now I try to catch all of them when I get a chance which isn't very often
What's the name of the L&O where it's real cases and you see real lawyers talking with each other about the case at the firm they work for? |

I hate the fact that the CSI labs always have a blue tint to them and how they can analyze DNA and amtch it in about 10 seconds with a cool machine. It is not all glamour work under blue lights.

I'm absolutely in love with Mariska Hargitay , and really like the overall cast of SVU so I try to watch it as much as possible. Don't watch much TV, but this is one of the few shows I'll try to catch when I can - usually every second or third episode. I typically really enjoy SVU, and find it infinitely better than CSI has been lately.
