volstein? in seinfeld?
Remember the episode where elaine wants to find out what this comic, about a cat and a dog doing something in the office, is about?
and she goes to the head of whatever newspaper, that published it, and demands him to explain it. And he starts throwing in some buzz words out and ends up calling it a volstein or something like that. I think, after, she writes her own comic about the pig going to put a complaint, in the complaints box, although it couldn't reach it and that ends up being a copy of a ziggy or something.... anyway, i know that's not a word (volstein), but what exactly did he say again? it was like volstein, i think? or it could even be volstein. I am just curious and was thinking about the whole deal of people (over) saying complex words just to sound pretty and sophisticated (like the architect in the matrix ). Good stuff, cheers for any help edit: here is the episode http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet...112/epid-2409/ hmm, i thought i was a bit of seinfeld fanatic...not after reading this cool site to look through though Last edited by Sleepyjack; 01-12-2004 at 10:55 PM.. |
