Will Kill Bill Vol.1 be out on DVD/re-released before Vol.2? I missed Vol.1 and feel like I'm stuck now

There appears to be no production or release dates for Vol. 1. I'm going on assumption that it won't be released until after Vol. 2 is out of theatres and both Volumes will be packaged together.

Sorry man.

It's hard to believe though, since when did a studio think it was a good idea to make less money, I mean two DVD's is logical for each of the Volumes since DVD afficianado's will definately shell out the cash. But I can't complain, I've been screwed over by DVD Marketing for too long, thanks QT.

The Japanese just slapped it together, go to www.aintitcool.com to find out the latest on KB2, apparently we'll be getting it in April instead of February as previously stated.

No, I thought it was crap too. Though I wasn't a big fan of the first movie, having read the script for them both together, they might tie in together to make a decent movie, but as a standalone, I don't like Volume 1 very much. I hope Volume II can be good, but this teaser sucked.

Trailer is usually about 2-3 minutes in length, giving a good look at what a film has to offer.

Teaser is usually a minute, offers very little actual footage, but just lets you know the film is on its way. Latest teaser I remember seeing is "aliens vs predator" no actual movie footage..just letting you know someones making it.

The whole film is done and edited as I understand it. Why push it back 2 months to release it??

And I thought that trailer/teaser sucked. But I think everyone who saw it or didn't see Vol.1 knows the 2nd one is coming so no real need to make a big production of promoting it.

i read this over at comingsoon.net a little over a week ago; thought y'all would wanna see it to clear up any confusion about release dates of vol 2 and the vol 1 dvd. I can't wait for vol 2. But the trailer never loaded for me on that japanese site.

Variety has confirmed that Miramax has moved the Quentin Tarantino sequel Kill Bill: Vol. 2 from February 20 to April 16. In a clever move, Disney has already moved its Lindsay Lohan romantic comedy Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen into the Feb. 20 spot.

The trade adds that it is also still undecided whether Kill Bill: Vol. 2 will travel to the Cannes Festival. No clear reason has surfaced for moving the sequel, but a later date will allow time to bring Kill Bill: Vol. 1 to DVD. It's expected to hit video shelves on April 13.

Kill Bill 2 trailer

As much as I liked the movie, this trailer sucks. Uma seems to be overacting in it, unless that was intentional. But enjoy anyway.

yeah it's pretty cheesy and they could've done better, but it's just a teaser trailer. We should be getting the real trailer within the next few weeks I'd think. There was another link posted to some other site that had a trailer, supposedly, but I could never get it to work. I dunno if this was the same thing.

But yeah, it was corny; they could've did away with the dumb wink at the end at least; lol.

TOTALLY intentional. Did you see the first film? Everything about the first film was overdone and it was absolutely hysterical.

This trailer is perfect. I'm totally looking forward to this movie.

Exactly. Couldn't have said it better myself. I was cracking up when I watched the trailer, it was very "Kill Bill-ish."
