Apparently so:
Villager: 'Thank you senor McGuver, you saved our village.' McGuyver: 'Don't thank me, thank the moon's gravitational pull.' absolute classic. Followed by more classic: Selma: That McGuyver's a genius' Sideshow Bob: 'First of all Selma, he's not a genius, he's an actor, and second of all, he's not much of an actor.' Selma: You're lying!' Bob: 'No, Selma dear, this would be lying, that was a well scripted piece of non-claptrap that never made me want to retch.' Anyhow to the next question: Since everyone secretly hates me for being the trivia Nazi, I have devised a new system, there's the easy question EQ, and the insanely difficult question IDQ. EQ: From which planet does the only non-human Stonecutter hail? IDQ: When Homer buys the weight loss tape which he plays in his sleep and Marge asks him if it is working the next morning what does Homer say? If you answer either of these you get the next one, but if you answer the IQD I will respect you far more and think you are way cool. |

It is a Martian.
IMO, the problem with the IDQ is that it is far too specific. You didn't ask "What tape did Homer get instead of the weight loss tape?" (Vocab Builder). I know he said something erudite and full of 50 cent words, but the exact line escapes me. I know it's not "A pox on thee, woman! I toil not on ye Sabbath." cuz that's from something else.

You actually remember that without having seen that episode recently?
I can remember a few quote but not word for word. "smithers you infernal ninny put your right hoof on that flange, put your left something on that something, now pump those scrawny chicken legs you stuporous funker" I love burns's archaic speech. "sweet maiden of the spit ... so that i may sup upon supple pig this noon" Homer's episodes of eloquency are also funny. |

Burns: 'I need this letter sent to the Prussian ambassador in Siam immediately, am I too late for the four o'clock gyrocopter?'
Teenage kid: 'This manual must be out of date, I don't see the words Prussian, Siam or gyrocopter.' Burns: 'Yes I see now, a slick hollywood production to gloss over my evil rise to power like 'Bugsy' or 'Working Girl'. Burns: 'Smithers, I've discovered a new form of transport, I call it the Spruce Moose, it can take a hundred passengers from New York to the Belgian Congo in under eight hours!' Smithers: 'Well it's a very nice model sir' Burns: 'Model!?' Where Bart is planning something evil and Homer comes in: 'Now there's a Machiavellian countenence, oooh a sextet of ale.' Ok, I remember a lot of things, definitely, definitely watch Simpsons on Monday, definitely... Anyway, I'm turning this into a quote thread, as opposed to a trivia one. |

In Springfiled there is a gang of four bullies. They consist of Jimbo Jones, Kearny, Nelson, and a fourth, long haired fellow. Name the fourth bully.

I believe that's correct. Ask your question.

Malibu Stacey/Stacy
"I wish they taught shopping in school." "Don't ask me - I'm just a girl (giggle)." are the quotes that stuck in my mind.

Lisa's Doll is named 'Lisa Lionheart' but I can't remember what it says exactly.
The new Malibu Stacy doll pisses her off because of 'Don't ask me I'm just a girl' like Mehoni. My favourite is where Janey or someone says: 'There's something wrong with my Malibu Stacy' and pulls the string and is says: 'My spider sense is tingling.' Plus I love: 'Do you have any idea how many little girls have tried to track me down?' Lisa: 'Am I the first?' .... 'Yes.' |

Geez, there are 17 pages, and i really don't want to read through all of them, so I humbly apologize if this has been asked already. When the critic (Jon Lovitz) tells McBain his shoes are untied, what does McBain discover on closer inspection?

Ooh. Tough one. I remember she says "I want what the dog's eating" when he asks her about her reward. Maybe "I have soiled myself; how embarassing" or is that another baby quote, like "This leash demans us both"? Damn!

Googa gaa goo
Translation: 'Lavish attention on me, and entertain me.' I'm pretty sure that's right, if not sorry. Anyway: EQ: What does Bart use to write his name in the Springfield Elementary playing field? plus three answer them and I will think you are the coolest IDQ's 1. What is the number of Patty and Selma's apartment? 2. How many consecutive hours is Krusty on air in the Treehouse of Horror episode where Bart has magic powers? 3. What was the first episode to feature Comic Book Guy? Last edited by Kostya; 06-03-2004 at 07:18 AM.. |

Principal Skinner: 'Ahhh say what you like about our cafeteria food, but I still say they're the best Tater Tot's money can buy.'
*sniffs* *Sniffs again* 'Wait a second that smells like sodiumtetrasulfic bonding with chlorophyll!' Kadath: 'Well, we're still on the air... three hundred and forty six consecutive hours... and it's all thanks to one little boy who who WON'T LET ME STOP!' So I guess Derwood's correct enough for me. Ask away. byt the way IDQ answers: 1. 1599. 3. Three Men and a Comic Book. |
