I really dont watch any of the reality dating shows, but ended up watching Average Joe with my girlfriend because the show seemed to have a cool twist. But I was totally pissed with the ending. Who agrees?

I refuse to watch those shows, but my mom watched this one and I was around when it ended tonight. She was pissed about it to, so you're not the only one.

nope..at the end she decided to pick the model looking guy. it just goes to show you that beautiful people only go for other beautiful people and yes...looks really do matter to women.

I admit it, I watched it with my wife, all the way through. I think that this was one of the finest production jobs on any reality tv dating shows.
Everyone was convinced it would be Adam, and the producers led the viewers right down that path, getting them to root for the average joe and think that it was obvious she would pick him, to make her final choice even more shocking. I'm sure using all the archived footage and music, they could have portrayed very different sides of the characters, but I think they did a good job, and the outcome made me think that it was really what she wanted, rather than being a scripted outcome like Joe Millionaire.

I didn't watch, but it's annoying still... First, if you're really going to do this social experiment "Can a woman find love among Average Joes" than stick to it. Don't pull a SHOCKING TWIST and add some hot guys.

Have the average guys, and have her pick one of them.

The girl is a big fame whore anyway. She was on "Meet My Folks" before this, and she was apparently involved with somebody else before the show started filming.

I watched most of the season, but I accidentally fell alseep before the finale. I woke up with about 20 mins left, though, so I saw the ending. I was disappointed, but I knew it was coming. I don't think I'm going to watch next season.

It was a lose-lose situation for her..
Either she'd get picked on for being superficial (choosing the hot guy), or being a golddigger (choosing the rich average joe).

all i know is shes a stupid-whore like most women. they all bitch and whine about never finding the right guy who is nice and decent but its all bs. They just want the hot guy to fill their hole and treat 'em like the piece of garbage they are. As Conan said to Crom.....I say women....."TO HELL WITH YOU!"

ps. This does not apply to any woman on TFP because if you are on TFP...you are ok in my book.

I thought the worst thing about it was the pretty boy Jason tried to get her drunk earlier in the episode, still lives with his parents at 27, and she thought he was bi-sexual at the beginning of the series... but she still chose him.

The Average Joe 2 gal looked much more superficial than the first gal.

no relationship with them for me...

but anyway, i think the other guy just overwhelmed her with gifts and compliments and things like that to win her over that it appeared like his feelings for her were a lot more than she could reciprocate back. thus, pretty boy seemed more on the same level with her. she kept going on about how they seemed to 'connect'. what bugged me in the end the most was how she emphasized his gorgeous looks and smile as one of the factors she chose him. ugh. but i guess this does give them a chance to know eachother better since he came later on in the show

the average joe guy is FAR form average IMO bcos of how successful and an all-around great guy he seemed. i think he was too good for her. :-D

In the last dates to the guys' hometowns she saw a bunch of framed FOrtune 500 magazines and she found out he's very well off before she picked the model.

A friend of mine swore up and down that she would pick the Average Joe Adam, and I kept telling her that she was going to pick the model.

It seemed to me that it was pretty obvious since she had no problem jamming her tongue down the model's throat where it was "friendship" kissing with Adam. He got into the "friendship zone" with her, and there was no getting out...there never is.

yeah it sucked massive dehydrated donkey balls...but that's reality TV for ya. I too am one who wouldn't have seen it without an SO, but I thought Adam was so cool overall...she just didn't have the fortitude to deal with a nice rich guy. She was more on an equal or higher level with model-boy and that's why she chose him. Control.

I won't we watching Season 2 as they have "hot" guys in this one and they talk shit to the average joes right off the bat and as was said before the girl is a shallow piece of shit from the preview.

The show was hilarious. They edited it very cleverly, showing the geekiest things the guys did the whole time.

It was obvious they picked the girl who they thought would be the most superficial.

I wanted the Indian guy with the PhD at 21 to win.
