WarGames. I'm actually not ashamed to admit that, though the close second is Red Heat with James Belushi and Ah-nold. If those movies come up on television at any time of any day, I'll watch them.
|
Pee-Wee's Big Adventure..."where's the basement?" I'm also a Bill & Ted fan (which I'm NOT ashamed of, but people tell me I should be...)

Hi, I'm johnny, and I like bad films....
for instance: Mortal Combat |
I'll just point out that I throughly enjoy classics such as Sevn Samurai, Citizen Kane and The Goonies so bare with me as I tell you this...
I recently saw Torque... and liked it... in fact I'll probably buy the DVD (but I buy lots of DVD's anyway, got 200 or so now...). It was good dumb fun that never took itself too seriously, awesome! |

Oh, and I really enjoyed the second half of Starship Troopers.
The first half was horrible with all the after-school special type plot-lines but once the bug-hunting started this movie was gold. |
Bring It On
|
Not ashamed, really- just seems to "teen" for me, but 10 Things I Hate About You....Heath Ledger, a good, funny story, and it's filmed 20 min. away from here. :)

|
what women want.... i own it cuz columbia house sent it to me and I waited too long to send it back....and now my friends make fun of me every time we try to pick a movie to watch
|
Not ashamed by a lot of movies, but I did take a lot of shit back in high school for liking The Little Mermaid.
. . . Okay, I lied. I'm looking through my DVDs right now and I'd have to say I'm ashamed of most RLC movies, with the exception of Josie and the Pussycats and She's All That. Hollow Man. Finding Forrester (especially after the creation of www.yourethemannowdog.com) Let me go hide now. |
Red Dawn :) Never met anyone else whos seen it yet.
|
I love Doc Hollywood. Bought it and also watch whenever I catch it on TV.
|
I liked Battlefield Earth when I first saw it - I was stoned at the time.
It really was a damn weird movie to watch when baked out of your mind. See, when I watched it, I had NO idea it was an L. Ron Hubbard creation, nor was I aware of how much it was regarded as a "shitty movie." I watched it with an unbiased mind. Instead of focusing on the bad acting, I sat there and thought, "Damn, that'd be fucked up if this happened." You know.. the whole "aliens come to earth, enslave the human race, and force them to mine metals". It was pretty bizarre. |
Robert Townsend movies:
Meteor Man Hollywood Shuffle and also an older Keenon Ivory Wayans flick I'm Gonna Git You Sucka |
Red Dawn's a classic! I love it in GTA:Vice City; they have a commercial for Ammu-Nation where they say, "And this weekend, a screening of the documentary Red Dawn". :D
Kull rocks too. Where the guy randomly explodes rolling down a hill? Or Kull's great threat "I'll kill you!", delivered as only Kevin Sorbo can. Ah, good times... |

back to the thread ------------ the pseudo musical "cry baby" i don't know why, i just know that i like it. |
I love "Mars Attacks." Everyone I know thinks it was cheesy, but I guess that's why I liked it. I grew up watching bad sci-fi and horror films in the 60's.
