So far I've only found one. On disk 1 if you go to "Scene Selection" then go to the last scene, then hit down once more and a ring icon will appear next to "*new scene" hit enter (or whatever it is on your remote) and you get to see the Gollum acceptance speech from the MTV movie awards. It's priceless.

I haven't been able to find anything else though. I was hoping there was a trailer for Return of the King somewhere in there but I haven't seen anything yet. Anybody else find anything?

I'm pretty sure that's the only easter egg. Of course I've been proven wrong before.

still, i saw that on tv.

interesting how clips from that awards show are popping up on dvd's now.

favorite mtv awards segment on dvd was the rushmore ones on the criterion dvd. really wish they had put the shatner se7en spoof on the last dvd.
