WHALE RIDER
 

a good movie, if you havent seen it I suggest that you do. I have not seen a good flick in a while, but after seeing this one I have to acknowledge there are still good flicks out there hahahaha

yup whale rider was one of the top 3 best shows of the summer.

Being a New Zealander myself I should've seen this film (especially since I usually watch anything and everything at the theatres). I've heard nothing but praise for it, the DVD releases soon, might have to pick it up.

yet another BRILLIANT NZ film.

it was quite successful in Australia... not long till we´re claiming it as our own... haha... (sorry if thats a bit of an inside NZ/Aussie joke)

I've heard good things about it. And if it's anywhere near as brilliant as 'Once Were Warriors' then I'll be happy.

i saw here in Canada, so it go as far north as here.

dont know if it skipped the states tho.

i must really reccommend it. Very good script, cast, and beautiful cinematography.

I saw Whale Rider last spring (in Toronto) and thought it was an excellent film. I can't wait to show it to my daughter when she is old enough to appreciate it...

I saw it last week. It was very good and involved no car chases and explosions so I really enjoyed it.
