G.I. Joe
I know this overlaps slightly with the "Best 80's poll" thread, but I can't help it. My friend and I have been watching G.I Joe on Cartoon Network at 12:30 Saturday(Sunday really, I guess) when we get the chance. I never realized how hilarious that show is! The episode we watched last involved Cobra becoming the only TV network. The Joes flew into space with their jets(adding extra boosters, of course) then had to eject in space. They used their oxygen to boost them back toward earth. Once inside the atmosphere(glossed over re-entry), Lady J did some quick calculations, and then they pulled their chutes (at 318 MPH) at the precise moment, allowing them to land in the parking lot of Joe Headquarters. We were rolling. All this leaving out the hilarity of Cobra Commander dancing around with a globe of the world, which the twins then proceeded to hop up on and dance about. It's the funniest TV on right now, as far as I can tell, though I hear good things about "Extreme Elimination Challenge" on TNN.

I've always loved GI Joe, I watched it religuously back in the day and I try to catch it whenever I get the chance, I love the little helpful reminders at the end of the show, with the "And now I know... and knowing is half the battle!"... I wait for the end of the show just to hear them say that. Classic GI Joe is great, but has anyone seen this new CGI GI Joe... I wonder if it is as bad as I think it's going to be.

The new GI Joe sucks poop. Its a pile of trash that really did not need to be made.
I still have all my GI joes, and assorted weapons and helmets. Just so everyone knows, my favorite character was that guy who had to carry around the communication pack. What was his name... Recon? He looked like a French dude. Had a mustache and wore the black beret.

I have all of the comics. Early in the series it was a much more serious story. GI Joe was also the first comic to have an issue with no words.
