Just finished reading The Rule of Four by Ian Caldwell and Dustin Thomason. I liked it better than the da vinci code but I think that both are over-hyped.
Up next is Mortal Prey by John Sandford. Ive haven't read any of the other prey novels but the book has good reviews.

Well, Fight Club took me all of 2 days to read. I was impressed with how close the movie was to the book (barring the end of course).

Now I'm reading "Eyes of the Dragon" by Stephen King.

In The Company of Heroes by Michael J. Durant CW4 (Ret.) with Steven Hartov

Great book, it's not just a dry reaccount of what Durant went through in those eleven days, you really feel as if you're there. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Most of my reading lately has been news articles and commentary. I just purchased "The Conservative Mind" by Russell Kirk, and plan to start it this afternoon. I also have "Eats, Leaves and Shoots" in my reading pile for a bit of diversion.

Just finished George R.R. Martin's : A Game of Thrones a week ago, and last night picked up book 2 of the series. I'll probably start into it tonight.

Plan on picking up the Davinci Code and maybe Angels and Demons sometime after this next book.


Reading above, I have to say that Eye of the Dragon by Stephen King was an awesome book. Also, the Sandford "Prey" series of books are all good so far, from the ones I've listened to on audio book (my other form of reading )

When I need a break from the novel I'm reading I've been working through Ansel Adams' The Camera series, currently trudging through The Negative.

Im on a pulp streak right now. I had to take a break from reading "serious" literature. I was getting bogged down and needed a kick.

I just finished Michael Crichton's Prey. An entertaining read. I especially enjoyed the parts about the AI programming. Nothing too deep though, I read the whole thing in 2 days.

I decided to switch it up and go with Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk, which I finished last night by reading more than two thirds of the book before going to sleep.

Great book, definately the same type of book as Fight Club as the story starts simple, then takes a very large drop in weirdness, but it oddly makes a lot of sense. It's another great book, and I hope they make a movie out of it the caliber of Fight Club because it has great potential, and a few chapters you can tell would be great in a movie (if you've read the book, you know chapter 2 could definately be a movie scene.)

Next up, the rest of the Chuck Palahniuk collection, Invisible Monsters, Choke, Lullaby, Diary.

Just finished Angels & Deamons by Dan Brown. Loved it.


I'm currently reading Naked Economics by Charles Weelan and it's fantastic so far. I'd highly recommend this book to everyone. It's a simple read and explains economics to the layman using nothing but simple language. No graphs or complicated math.

Just started Fallen Angels, the sequel to Altered Carbon. Would highly recommend the duo for anyone who likes Phillip K Dick, William Gibson, or the scifi stories prevalant in the 70's that follow the "man vs the world" conflict.

Next up will be Absolution Gap, the final volume of the revelation space trilogy, quite possible the best hard sci-fi writtin in the last 20 years.
