Indiana Jones !!!!!!

You know what, it may not be my absolute favorite, but I think that 1941 needs some love here. It's a movie where the people making it look like they were really having fun.
I think it was the most expensive film ever made (at the time) and it really shows. Huge sets and expansive scenes... the dance number/fight can't be beat. |
Empire of the Sun. I was young and I liked it then. Now I can't stomach Spielberg. He's become quite saccharine and sickingly sweet and nostalgic. He's like the McDonald's of directors (that's not a good thing).

I think the Indiana Jones trilogy are great because they're fantastic escapism movies.
Schindler's List is my other favourite by him, he got just about everything right IMO. |
Jaws would be my favorite. I haven't enjoyed many of his movies since Jurassic Park.

Didnt he make shindler's list? That is my favorite on of his it is a good story.
