The Rundown

*********** WARNING SPOILERS **************

i saw the sneak preview of the rundown (the rock and sean william scott) and i must admit, its a pretty good action comedy. at the beginning there are a few suprises (i.e guest appearances, and wrestling references) and it only gets better with the action scenes.

it does get cheesy in some parts...but what can you expect from a movie partly produced by vince mcmahon?!

The Rundown

I just saw it and was very pleasantly surprised. A very good action movie. with a 2 second Arnold cameo.

I completely agree. Great action scenes, and The Rock came dangerously close to actual acting in one or two spots. The only annoying part of the movie was the scottish moron trying to sound profound. The monkeys were hilarious as well.

Yeah, what was the deal with that guy? Early in the movie he has a Notre Dame mascot on the dash of his plane and a clover painted on the tail. Later on he is wearing a Kilt and playing Bagpipes.

Scottish/Irish? WTF is that?

Anyway, other than that I liked the film a lot. Some of the camera work was outstanding.

Both Scots and Irish traditionally wear kilts and play bagpipes, so its copacetic.

All in all I want to see this flick. Looks fun. Not terribly good, mind you, but a shitload of fun.

It was a lot of fun, if you treat it like it is. The Rock actually has a sense of comic timing, so if you see it as a fun adventure/kick ass movie, then you won't be dissapointed. The fights were great, and you wonder if they were actually kicking people through the air.

i agree this movie was worth the price of admission, as long as you aren't looking for an oscar winner. C'mon, Stifler and Walken in the same flick. How can you go wrong

I just got back from seeing it. I have to say, it's pretty good. It indeed does have a couple cheesy parts but it was still a good movie. I'd recommend it.

First movie I've seen in ages that I didn't feel ripped off for the price I paid to get in. Decent amounds of action/laughs and cmon, the Monkey Scene was worth it alone!

I loved this movie. The fight scenes were awesome. The only thing I hate about this movie is that this seals the deal that The Rock will be a big player in movies for awhile, making him a less then part time wrestler.

I thought the movie was pretty decent. I had fun, but won't be getting the DVD. My favorite line was after The Rock said "I don't go into another man's house and reach in the refrigerator" and Walken just says "refrigerator". They should give Walken an Oscar just for being a badass.

Classic Christopher Walken role! I also liked the first meeting between the Rock and Stifler... There's always an option C

mcmahon only got his name as a producer because he owns the name "the rock"...dwayne johnson's contract isn't up yet.
