Calendar Girls, a film about the middle-aged women who posed naked on a charity calendar, has gone to the top of the UK box office chart.

Warning this film is crap, please do not beleive any hype. Save your money and don't go, you'll only regret it.

I remember reading about this movie quite some time ago. I assume it was in production at the time. I don't usually judge which movies I want to see based on box office receites, though. I generally turn to the critics... not just one, of course, because there are some really terrible critics out there. If they can mostly agree, though, I usually want to see the movie.

That said, I don't recall this one seeming all that interesting when I read about it before.

i remember reading about the group that did it in the newspaper.. i cannot believe they made a movie of this.. too bad it's not a made for TV... then you could change the channel and you didn't pay $10
