Favorite Actor or Actress
Who is your favorite actor or actress?
It's pretty hard to decide i'm sure. But if you had to choose, who would you say is your favorite. I'm going to say Edward Norton here. All of the films that i have seen him in i have liked and that is including Death to Smoochy. He seems to be able to play a variety of different characters and he plays them very well.

I have none. I like roles that are good. I've seen blockbusters with "famous" actors that have left me indifferent and I've seen movies with not so "famous" actors that have lifted my spirit or made me cry. I'm not into Idol worship.

ed norton [mr. popular it seems, well deserved though]
david hyde pierce roy dupuis Tons of worthy actors but these stand out also from their characters as well as their acting ability. I have yet to like an actress for their acting rather than their looks/image so it's not really mention worthy.

Hmmm... This is a tough question, because there are so many great actors and actresses - each with their own quality that sets them apart. It's kind of like my top ten movies list, that contains well over 200 movies!
Off the top of my head though, a few of my favorites are: Errol Flynn Lon Chaney Jr. Audrey Hepburn Steve McQueen Alec Guiness George C. Scott Cary Grant Marlon Brando Toshiro Mifune Gerard Depardieu Spencer Tracy Jack Nicholson Meryl Streep Gregory Peck Paul Newman Jurgen Prochnow Bill Murray (way under-rated) Humphrey Bogart Gene Tierney Al Pacino Robert DeNiro For recent stars (last fifteen years or so) that really impress me, and will someday be in my "favorites" list: Johnny Depp Ed Norton Brad Pitt Benicio Del Toro Pruitt Taylor Vince (he needs to get a bit more choosy in his roles though) Tim Roth Wow, I could go on forever! I know I'm missing alot that I'll kick myself for later, but for brevity sake I'll stop here. Don't even get me started on worst, or most over-rated actor/actresses! *cough*KevinCostner*cough*

I don't really have a fav actor, but I do like Steve Buscemi as he proves you don't have to be good looking to get good roles. |

Johnny Depp
Brad Pitt Toshiro Mifune David Bowie Sean William Scott.. haha just kidding! Arnold Schwarzenegger (not for his acting skills but for his on-screen presence) I don't have a favourite actress because I've never been blown away by a female performance (mainly to do with the fact that they don't get many big roles). Denzel Washington
Does almost everything, does it well, and does it well everytime. I have never seen a bad Denzel movie, and I've seen him carry a few. Samuel L. Jackson second. He made 187, no one else could have played that role. Jules is one of the best characters in movie history. Third it starts getting a little blurred, but I'll go with Pacino because he can play a variety of roles, a coach in Any Given Sunday or Tony Montana, always does great. Honorable Mentions: John Travolta (Battlefield Earth knocked him off the top 3) Tom Hanks (His role in Saving Private Ryan you can't picture anyone else doing) Robert DeNiro (Taxi Driver, what else needs to be said?) Anthony Hopkins (Hello Clarice) Mel Gibson (FREEDOM!) Jackie Chan (especially his older stuff) Jodie Foster (Clarice #1) Julianne Moore Clarice #2) Ed Norton (I've never seen anyone else kick their own ass)

Just as they were about to enjoy their creamy beverage, three flies landed in each of their pints. The Englishman pushed his beer away in disgust. The Scotsman fished the fly out of his beer and continued drinking it, as if nothing had happened. The Irishman, too, picked the fly out of his drink but then held it out over the beer and yelled "SPIT IT OUT, SPIT IT OUT, YOU BASTARD!" |

I have a lot of favorite actors. But I agree, Spacemonkey, Edward Norton is awesome. He's an amazing actor who does play a variety of roles very well.
He's underrated though, if you ask me. Why don't we see his dating life on the front of Star magazine? WHY!?
