looks like Fox wants to capitalize on the afterdeath success of the Family Guy on the Cartoon Network...they have decided to produce a direct to DVD movie.

Yeah... I agree... I just recently got into it and I watch it every night now on CN. (Futurama got my hooked on it because it used to come on after it)

Its good to hear that they finally have realized the true genius of Family Guy. Too bad its too late to save the series proper.

Kick ass. To me the Family Guy is what the Simpsons should be. The stupid people get the dick and fart jokes, the rest of us get the pop culture references.

Thats awesome. I will be watching that. I think vol 2 comes out this month on dvd. All Family guy all the time.

I wish I had the confidence in the studio executives to believe this, but this has nothing to do with the quality of the programming. This would never even be contemplated if Volume 1 and 2 of the DVD's had not sold over a half million units each.

This decision was made because of dollars and cents, nothing more, nothing less...

I LOVE Family Guy - bought the DVD set as soon as it came out. A movie would not only be awsome... it would be... uhhh... Super-Awesome... or something.
