I loved watching Win Ben Stein's Money before the gimmick started getting old. It was funny and some of the questions were really hard. Now as for past game shows, I liked Jeopardy and this weird one with giant playing cards. Those big floppy cards were neat, don't remember how the show worked but I liked those.

Gene Rayburn and a terribly large microphone.
Charles Nelson Reilly, Richard Dawson, Bret Sommers... It has to be Match Game. In it's prime, it was funnier than most comedies and you know the cast wrap parties were just about the craziest thing going. I'm sure Richard Dawson had a special way of welcoming the hot young actress of the day to the panel. Plus, Marcia Wallace rocks!

I can still watch the Match Game. That's some funny shit.
Price is Right is still good too. Bob Barker is some kind of freakin' powerhouse. MTV had some good game shows back in the day. Most notably Remote Control and Trashed. Remember Trashed? You brought your favorite possesions and answered questions. If you answered the questions wrong, they took your stuff and obliterated it. It was great. I think I could go onto Beat the Geeks and clean house.

Jeopardy and Ben Stein for trivia.
I am reluctant to admit it, but as a kid I loved The Match Game. It was a sort of live Mad Libs.

i couldn't get into beat the geeks... the jokes were too stale.
ben stein's money is a classic, even to this day.. i'm diggin on some of the cable game shows that take it up a notch or two... full metal challenge is a great one... henry rollins hams his act up a bit much, but the action is great. extreme elmination challenge is fun to watch, if nothing else to see these little goobers get the snot beat out of them... and i'm going on a limb calling it one, but i still see monster garage as a game show... build a wicked modded car, win an assload of tools. great show.
