one of the things that I noticed is that the director sucked ass because he has WAAAAAY too many cuts and jumps. The camera never lingered for more than a few seconds at a time.

I'm going to have to try to get the other footage from the other cameras from the Library.

They had prepared a video tribute but it didn't run due to some technical difficulty. You could see part of the video running in the background/screens but you couldn't hear the sound. Kelly Osbourne figured it out and picked up where the video would've left off. I hope they will still show it in some future installment of the Best of VMA or I'll be even more disappointed.

Yep. Wouldn't be hot in any way for me, but yes, I would be ok with it. From a female point of veiw, it was a little over the edge because of their fans being only ten-ish.... but you have to admit it was totally hot.... The three biggest sext symbols in music right now kissing? Dream come true...

i agree girl on girl action is hot, but madonna doesn't do it for me. Probably what annoyed me the most was when they cut to see justin's reaction, and he was just boppin his head like a fool. I mean... if he got all shocked or had some reaction I might want to see it (but I still wouldn't care), but he hardly flinched.

I dunno what the big deal is. Back in the 80's you might not have expected it, even from Madonna, but in this day and age I for one don't find it anything unusual or special. Especially from Madonna.

Then again I've never understood why two women kissing is somehow "hotter" than a man and a woman kissing.

Just like her first time, the superstar upstaged everyone at the 20th annual MTV Video Music Awards, only she had help Thursday night from the latest generation of video divas, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.

Proving they've come a long way from their Mouseketeer days, the young pop tarts gave a gyrating, writhing tribute to Madonna to open the show. Dressed in the same kind of white bustier wedding dress Madonna wore while performing "Like a Virgin" during MTV's inaugural awards broadcast in 1984, Spears and Aguilera sang a cover of the not-so-innocent tune.

Then, while Madonna sang her new "Hollywood" in a masculine, all-black groom's outfit, she shared an openmouthed kiss with both Aguilera and Spears. Bottom line ... Madonna wants to tap that ass !

Pure attention-whoring, like t.A.t.U... I'm not against homosexuality, I don't think it's disgusting. I just think girls kissing girls to get guys attention is... ridiculuous.

It's lame. It's what 14-year old girls do at parties to get guys attention. Too bad the only message this sens out is "It's okay being slutty for attention".

The thing that gets to me the most is that next to nobody will care about it. Most people will say "HOT" and go fap fap fap. You could never ever make people think about it... GAH.

I think it was a great thing the did that because now you know, they have grown up regardless how you see them. And what a way to show it, I'd give your left nut to be up on tht stage with all 3 of them. I'd give mine, but if I was up there with them, I'd be needing both.....

Seems that entertainment has to come the point where the person(s) willing to do the most outrageous, often stupidest things, are those that end up being the most successful.

Some might argue that this kind of behaviour is expected from Madonna - c'mon she deepthroarted a fucking bottle at one point of her career, but I still find the motive behind the kiss, but not the actual kiss (cause that rocked) disgusting....
