I just finished watching this series my friend got called BurnUp Excess. It a new version of an old 80's anime and it RULES ALL!
It's about these 5 people, 4 girls and one guy, named Rio,Lilica,Nanvall,Maya,and Yugi, who are part of a secret police organization called Warrior. They go around taking down terrorist's but the cool thing about the show is it mix's everything into one. It's got action,comedy,robot's,ton's of fan service,4 hot girl's,and alot of crazy stuff(a gang of tranny's for one. If you like anime at all you will like this series, it has defanitly become one of my faves,go buy it NOW,you will not regret it.

Not a bad show- I like something lighthearted and not-so-serious every once in a while. The episode with all the crossdressers is a standout.

I really want to get hooked on some decent Anime but I'd prefer not having to buy 20 DVD's just to actually figure out whether I like it or not.

Movie-length features for me (Ghost in the Shell, Metropolis...).
