basically, it's a treasure hunt. some very popular guy that was part of a secret society was murdered in a french museum. he left a messege on the floor in code, a hired symbologist was there to try and crack the code. that code lead to another code, they found secret messeges on da vinci paints its very interesting

If you enjoyed Da Vinci Code, you should read the one that came before it, Angels and Demons. Both books are quite clever with their puzzles, but I found that the journey was a lot more rewarding than the final payoff.

yeah, i'm reading angels and demons at the moment. i wonder what the puzzles will be.. and i also agree that the journey was way better than the payoff. but, it was still a great book. pick up a copy.

It's a big chase... which isn't a bad thing, because it is so creative, new, and interesting, until the last 15% or so. It gets formulaic. My wife read it on a cross country airplane trip and I read it on the return... easy quick read and a lot of fun.

Haven't read it yet. Met a girl on a flight from Denver to Boston that was raving about it...she was smart and attractive...I'll have to read it now.

I found both of the authors books to be enjoyable. They are kind of adventurous in a Indiana Jones sort of way.

I agree.... I read DaVinci Code and am currently reading Angels and Demons. Both are very interesting and the journey through the book is gripping... you can't wait to see what the true answers are as compared to what you may think....

really good book, up until the end, very informative, intelligent, but the thing with who sophie is is just stupid. a really useless gimmick. argh.
