large scale repeated viewing

what movie have you seen the most number of times?
how many times?

for me, it is probably The Warriors, with about 25 or 30 viewings. But coming up hard on that is Fellowship of the Rings (original and extended versions - combined viewings, about 15). Im sure that by the time I die, I'll have a hundred plus viewings of the LOTR trilogy, possibly multiple hundreds. Its that damned good.

shit, now I'll have to put it in and watch it (at least the Balrog scene anyway - they NAILED that monster IMHO).

I have seen Star Wars at least 100 times, I watched it when I was 13-15 pretty much every week. The rest of the series (not the new shit, that's not the same series IMHO) about 20-30 each.

In college we watched So I Married an Axe Murderer every weekend before going the bar. It was good background noise while we were getting primed. So I must have seen it about 30 times.

These days I can't be bothered to watch anything that many times, so I guess those records will probably hold. LOTR:FOTR is too long to watch that many times anyway.

Probably the Original Star Wars...over a hundred times, same with Empire Strikes back.

Other movies I have seen many, many times: Spaceballs, Pulp Fiction, UHF, and a few more I can't remember at the moment.

Prolly have seen Star Wars more than anything...

But out of my DVD collection...Any of the Kevin Smith movies, I bet. Either that, or The Boondock Saints.

Gone In 60 Seconds. For some reason that movie just grabbed me and filled my personal interests perfectly.

I have seen the two American Pie movies probably 200 times between the two. I dunno, just good, wholesome grossout comedy!

I worked in a video store and one summer all we could play on the tvs was ghost buster, grease, and the temple of doom. I watched each one at least once a day for over 3 months. It drove me nearly insane. Plus I always watch Shawshank Redemption whenever it is on tv (which is all the time!).

Yeah. TBS should just change to "TSN: The Shawshank Network" or something...

Star Wars (the original trilogy *of course*). Absolutely one of my favourite movies/book series of all time. Right before Ep 1 was released, I spent a couple of days watching the entire trilogy 2x/day, which kind of added to the huge disappointment I felt when I first watched the movie.

The Boondock Saints I've seen a number of times.

Equilibrium, mainly because noone had seen it so I felt the need to show it off to everyone.

I've also watched the entire Band of Brothers Miniseries at least 6 times now.

Traffic is another one i watch quite a bit.

Plus the norms... Star Wars, LOTR, etc.

The Parent Trap (1998)

I have seen it well over 50 times. It is a fun movie. I really thought that they were twins, even after seeing it over 30 times. It wasn't until someone told me that I realised the truth.

Caddy Shack. I can quote relentlessly from the movie.

Next, would be the "original" Star Wars, followed by Ground Hog Day.

Probably have watched these 3 a total of 600 times, and never bored of them!
