Futurama's End
Well, the last episode aired in FOX Sunday and it certainly marked a sad day, at least for me. It was a pretty hilarious show, and it had lots of heart. The finale wasn't a gut buster, but it brought the show to a touching end.
There's talk about starting the show anew on Cartoon Network or even doing a movie, but that sounds like a long shot. But, at least the DVD's are coming out at a pretty constant pace. Volume 2 this week and 3 coming in the spring probably. |

Yeah I thought tonight's episode was a really good one, it wasn't the best one or anything but Fry finally got what he was always after. It was such a good show, sad that FOX had to drop it, what bastards.

I never really like that show. I felt let down by it, probably due to all the hype over it being created by Matt Groening, etc., etc. It just never lived up to my expectations.

FOX is getting lazy. They are trading their quality programming like Family Guy and Futurama for more reality shows. Because they are cheap to produce. The question now is, what will fill in Futuramas spot. My guess is Miss Personality? The only time I watch TV now is to watch the classics on Cartoon Network. oh god...someone bring back real tv.
