24 (series review needed)
I have just been recommended to watch the 24 series from Fox. Now I've seen promos but the minute thing I believe will annoy me. Anybody finish the series and believe it's a good and worthy watch?

I watched both of the series and they were definitely worth the 48 hours of my life. I would definitely recommend it and i too guarantee you'd like it.

I have watched both seasons as well and definitely recommend that you watch it. I will also recommend watching the dvd because it's easy to miss things that happen during each hour.
The added benefit of watching the dvd is that not only o you see things that happen "during the commercial breaks", but you don't have to wait the week (or longer) to find out what happens from hour to hour. |

Season 2 was better than Season 1, mostly because I hated Keifer's wife. Still a good watch tho. Elisha Cuthbert is hotm but her character is dumber than 2 sacks of rocks.
Is there a lot of extra shit on the DVDs?

In response to the_marq:
The Season 1 DVD set had a couple of alternate endings and a short introduction to the series by Kiefer Sutherland. Pretty bare. However, the 2nd season set has episode commentary on a couple episodes, deleted scenes, and featurettes. And answering ^dude's question: The 3rd season is supposed to start October 28th in the US. |

Another vote for 24
I've seen both seasons and I mirror the sentiments of the other members. Great show very suspenseful! Keifer makes the show! Looking forward to season 3. DVD set was around $50 but if you figure its $20 for a two hour movie you're getting 24 hours for a bit over twice that.

I wasnt too sure about it either but after checking out season 1 on dvd I was hooked.
Now I just need to see season 2. Thank god it comes out on dvd before season 3 starts. Must have my 24 fix.
