How can anyone not like Kevin Smith movies, the guy is a genius -- if a woman says she doesn't like 'em -- she's telling you a bold faced lie -- those movies are side splitting funny.
9 1/2 Weeks? Gawd Mickey Rourke is so incredibly HOT in that movie - Ya don't want the ladies watching it - I have never gotten the humor behind Monty Python movies, but I know plenty of women who can quote them chapter and verse. |
Another vote for American Psycho........ there were some uncomfortable moments there, but still one of my favorites !! muahahhaah

War movies, mainly. Endless battle scenes = not good. Also, most psycho-killer/serial killer movies, unless there's a strong woman lead and maybe not even then.
The exception to these is 1) if it's actually a stylish, complex movie, and especially 2) if there's an actor in it that she likes or is hot for. My wife admires Kevin Spacey as an actor, so I had no trouble dragging her to L.A. Confidential or The Usual Suspects, two Spacey movies, even though she normally would be too concerned about the violence to go. And of course they were both two fine movies, critically acclaimed. |

Let me get this straight... you got "dragged" to a tittie-movie, and then were rewarded with apology-sex? Damn. |
Maid in Manhattan
Two Weeks Notice How to lose a guy in 10 days If I watched any of those with my girlfriend, she'd punch me for being a lame ass. I'd punch myself too. I can watch pretty much all the other movies mentioned in this thread w/ my girlfriend :D |

Wow... I'm weirder than I thought. When I was dating, we both picked out Reservoir Dogs, Fight Club, both intensely into Hannibal, I LOVED Dogma, Office Space, 12 monkeys.... If I watch too many girly sappy movies I start to go nuts. I've seen too much real Vietnam footage from one of my classes to be thrilled with seeing too many movies, but I couldn't get my ex to watch Platoon with me after we watched the unedited version in class. Or Hamburger Hill. So much for girls having a weaker stomach.
I'll watch just about anything once before making a judgement on it. Only thing that might not go are cartoons if there aren't captions for me to follow. |

Damn, I guess I'll have to think of another gift idea for Valentines Day.... |
Indecent Proposal... they don't need any motivation to stray. LOL

Glengarry Glen Ross
<img src="http://www.kinomaniak.com/filmy/3/grafika/09.jpg"> A brilliant film but definitely a guys film. |
Definatly do not watch American Psycho with yout girlfriend ever. I once saw it with a girl friend of mine and I had a hairstyle similar to the main character (i had it before i saw the movie even) and i got accused of trying to be like the the main character and it's just not a good bonding movie at all

Any movie about a war.
Any movie containing things from a war (guns, bombs, etc;) Any movie where they talk about war Any movie that was made at the same time a movie about war was made Any movie that makes references to movies about war Any movie that has actors in it that were in movies about war Can we say I HATE movies about war?:) |
"Dead Alive".
If she's still with you at the end, marry her. |
3 Wedding and a Funeral........jeez don't watch this if you are not thinking of marrying the girl your with. The last scene when Hugh Grant changes his mind at the alter...made my girlfriend bawl her eyes out and suffice it to say we didn't last much longer after that. She wanted to get married and I wasn't ready.
