Dat Phan was funny as shit... however I still am a big fan of Dave from Minnesota...... he's my favorite, I wish he had won... sigh. Anyways, Dat suprised the Hell out of me, he is so funny and deserved to win, especially over Voss. That guy was an asshole.

like the gang said they were gonna play hide and seek and dat went and hid........but nobody went looking. the poor dude hid for like 45 mts and then came out and was like "what they hell is wrong with you guys?".

it was hilarious.

btw, they had a clip on that on the tonight show yesterday. (that's how i know)

Dat Phan was surprisingly funny. I was amazed to see how funny he was after seeing him be so serious all the time. I still think that Ralphie was funnier though.

I thought Dat Phan was pretty dumb. His jokes were all the same old asian jokes and making fun of the way his mother talked. I really wanted to see Ralphie win, he was hilarious. But i agree with Katyblu, Dave was the best.

I'll admit that Dat Phan's Asian routine has made me laugh three times now, but it's wearing thin, if he wants to last more than 15 minutes now that he's won, he better find himself some new material.

I didn't watch the series all the way through but from the episodes I caught I like him the best.

Dat Phan won???? Jeez...I figured Ralphie would win, although I wanted the white chick to win. (I can't remember her name since I never really watched the show that closely)

Dat Phan won for two reasons. First, he got the sympathy vote (nice guy, underdog, religious, save the world crap). Second, most of the 'voters' were probably young, the kind of audience who laughs at the simple jokes. Dat Phan was NOT the best comic, not even close. Off stage he wasn't funny at all. On stage, he had a few good jokes (the Mortal Kombat peeing stuff comes to mind), but most of his routine involved making fun of his mom. I doubt he has more than 10 minutes total of original material. By the end of the show, he was already repeating shit. And as for Ralphie, most of his stuff was one long rant, and not all that funny. Still, I'd take him over Dat. Dave or Rich should have won, they were by far the funniest, both on and off stage.

Dat Phan was a better choice than Ralphie...but Rich Vos [or dave if he wasn't robbed earlier] was clearly the funniest of the 5 finalists!!

I liked Dat, i thought he was hillarious. Ralphie just ranted to much.

The older white chick was pretty funny though, I woulda been happy with her winning.

Most of the "experienced" comics sucked. Tess was terrible. Ralphie was inconsistent (although his routine last night was way better than Dat Phan's). Kori was an idiot with the same old tired mother jokes. Voss was ok at some points but fell back on "I stink" "They stink" "It stinks" too much. The kindergarten teacher was nothing special. The chick with the blue hair shouldn't open at a deli.

The thing that annoyed me the most was the sense of entitlement from the group of five. They think because they paid their dues they deserved to win? Yeah right. The best performer deserved to win and he did. Even though Dat did not have the best material, he was honest and gave it 200%. The guy that was in the tub with Voss was probably second or third best in my opinion. Top three in my book would be Dat, Ralphie, and Voss's "special friend".

Jay mohr was horrendous. What's up with the ATM routine I've heard another comic do it and did it 1000% better.

Even though I am from Houston, I am glad the fat dude didn't win. I couldn't stand his voice. HE sounded like a 12 yr old boy.

Dave definately should have won. He was very creative with his act. Dat was ok, but I hate when comedians use the same material over and over (seems like they would really make sure they didn't make that mistake on this show but Dat did more then once). I still have no clue as to how Ralphie made it as far as he did. If it wasn't for the fact that he was morbidly obese, he would have never even made it into the competition. He didnt make me laugh once, and I am not a tough person to entertain.
