Besides the news, sports and "Gilmore Girls" (don't ask, a friend is making me watch it) I don't watch TV. If I had cable, I'd probably watch stuff on the History, Discovery channels, etc. I watch movies on DVD though.

I only watch sports on TV... but I wouldn't miss it too much.

I went 8 months (I was in Kosovo) without TV and it never bothered me. Then again I was kinda busy all day

For me, the choice is either Cable TV, or Cable Modem...Being in college, the internet is kind of something that you have to have. So, I'm going to go without cable most likely for 9 months except on breaks. And I doubt I'll miss it too much.

I used to watch TV all the time before I got into the Internet - not so much anymore.

Now, the only shows I watch with consistancy are Frontline and Nova. That's not to say I can't enjoy some Daily Show now and then. And, of course, in season, Marlins and Dolphins games are often on in the background. =)

But I could go quite a while without TV, I would say.

I can go for a long time without TV these days. There are only 2 or 3 shows that I enjoy (Simpsons being one ). Now DVDs on the other hand - that's my weakness. Love the movies (and The Simpsons box sets of course).

Well, I have internet on cable, so I get the basic cable channels. I watch them occasionally because they are there, but really if I didn't have TV I wouldn't watch it. I'd just surf even more (if thats possible).

Now, if I didn't have the Internet....<shudders>...

It used to be a day at most. I had all my shows that I kept up with. Now since I've started college, there is just not enough time to plan around my shows. That is what summer re-runs are for. So now... if I'm doing something/entertained I can go for long time without it. When I'm bored... that's a different story!

I stopped watching TV ~1.5 yr ago. It's great and most probably something huge has to happen to start it again...
After I've stopped I realized how much time I've spent watching that stupid box... There're so many other things you can do... (For ex. instead of watching sports you could do some...)
