Now, without setting up a poll that necessarily won't be inclusive enough, I was wondering if users would post their favourite movie.

I will tabulate the results and maintain a running total below.

Best Movie: (tie) The Godfather, Scarface.

Gotta say The Godfather. Schindler's List is incredible too, though of a completely different nature.

Star wars was very influential, but my vote is for Empire Strikes Back, which was better.

fight club is by far one of my favorite movies... followed very closely by donnie darko, and igby goes down.

the godfather movies are amazing though.

My #1 Seven Samurai.... Everyone has taken from Kurosawa. Lucas, Spielberg & Tarantino to name a few.

My #2 Citzen Kane. Another brilliant, visionary film. Written & directed by a man ahead of his time.

Someones opinion of the best movie and their favorite movie may be two seperate things. You may think one movie is a great film with everything it needs, but you may enjoy watching another movie more. I do think that they can be considered 2 different topics, but it's not up for me to decide.
