i recently purchased the entire series and all three films.. i had watched the series on Cartoon Network years ago when it aired and loved it, so the other day I was at Manifest Discs and saw the first season on sale for 50 bucks, so I cracked down and bought both seasons..

i must say, it's rather astounding. i really loved the way the society has become so distanced from basic human phenomena, such as the ability to be inspired and to love without being 'programmed' to do so. the plots are rather fascinating, and the characters are exceptionally deep... i'm in love with this show!

and the films.. wow.

i don't even know where to begin a discussion of a mythos of this caliber, so please.. someone pitch an observation, because i can't wait to discuss it
