Movies You're Looking Forward To This Year
 

Myself, I'm excited for a few movies. I have high hopes for Sucker Punch. I have mixed emotions for Green Lantern. I mean, what works well on the illustrated page (intergalactical space cop patrolling earth) may not work on the big screen. I really hope it does though.

Transformers: Dark of The Moon Mr. Bay action is always fun
Thor - Always loved the comic
X-Men First Class
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 - have to see how they finish up
Cowboys And Aliens - come on, who doesn't think this is gonna be awesome?

All those, plus Captain America, and the Spiderman reboot.

I guess Super 8 is the only thing I'm really looking forward to seeing this year.

Heck, I'm not even excited about Pixar's offering this year...

Battlefield: LA....just because the trailers were awesome and them using the song The Sun´s Gone Dim and The Sky´s Turned Black in the trailer.

Of course the comic book movies minus the Spider-Man reboot. The last 3 movies ruined it for me completely, unless they turn it around in Christopher Nolan style. But the 3 Spider-Man movies were horrible, absolute trash.
I wish Michael Bay would be banned from making movies as well.

but in all honesty, I want some original movies to come out, such as Inception, I enjoy a good mindf**k.... Spiderman died with Tobey Maguires career.... I can't wait for the Avengers but then again, adapting comic book characters to movies is almost overdone.... although I will say Scott Pilgrim vs the World was wonderfully adaptive, albiet it will never have another one like it come out to the same magnitude... nerds rejoiced everywhere.

Practically all the super hero movies plus I gotta say Battle: LA looks badass. Also Sucker Punch tho I have no idea what its about.

They did a pretty decent job on watchmen though. Now they need to make a Stormwatch movie (think watchmen on steroids).

Oh, and a Midsummer Night's Dream with Sandman.

I will agree with you on that one... I enjoyed Watchmen very much.... didn't over develop/complicate any part of the movie IMO

I saw Battlefield: L.A and enjoyed it quite a bit. Wife and I were in line to see Paul, but it was sold out and saw this instead. I really liked it.
Sucker Punch was a bit of a disappointment.
Plan on seeing Your Highness next.

2 down, 6 to go. Disappointed in Battlefield L.A., but enjoyed Sucker Punch.
