We saw a trailer for this at Harry Potter. I kept waiting for it to be an anti-cell phone advertisment or spoof or something. Hubby was as excited as a kid at Christmas, so I'm assuming we're going to see it.

The cool thing about this is that the setting precedes the popularity of science fiction. As an example, it predates War of the Worlds by over 20 years.
So mainstream Americans--and in this case Arizonians---in 1873 may not have any predetermined ideas of extraterrestrial life coming to Earth. Before this concept became mainstream, things which could not be explained were usually the work of the devil or the denizens of Faerie. Like the one line in the trailer, "Are these demons?"

It's still looking really good. That's a good sign.
