You know what movie is 20 years old this year?
Pretty Woman.
Sure it was incredibly sexist. It also taught a generation of women a career in prostitution could lead to a fairy tale ending, promised men that they could find their soul mate through an escort service, and was instrumental in legitimizing the world's oldest profession. But this isn't about any of that. Julia Roberts was seriously, seriously hot twenty years ago.

After reading Eat, Pray, Love and finding out Julia was the star of this new movie...I'm terribly disappointed. The book was just O.K.....Nothing Earth Shattering IMHO.
Watching her eat pasta non stop in Italy the first third of this movie is gonna make so many of us Real Women not like her - even more. And her meditating... C'mom. tlet's just take an Ambian now. It's so very Zen and she's so not that. I never felt she had the true unique talent that is required to move a movie fan too much more than to go get more popcorn. She's so flippin' over rated. There could have been some terrific choices for another leading Lady. Any thoughts?

Is this a "I'd do her!" thread? If so, count me in. I'd also do JLC from True Lies although that flick isn't quite 20 yet.
... As an aside, Richard Gere looks exactly the same. I just saw Brooklyn's Finest (a confusing The Departed clone) and that dude doesn't age at all. |

I've never seen any of her films.
I also think she's on par and as attractive as Mary-Louise Parker, which in my estimation, is not that hot. Proportional, adequate, and normal; nothing to write home about.

..........I was not allowed to see Pretty Woman when it came out. Not that I can blame my parents; I don't suppose any nine year old should be allowed to watch a movie about a hooker.
Y'know those boots she's wearing at the beginning of the movie? Yeah. I want those. ---------- Post added at 01:04 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:02 AM ---------- Quote:
I'd cough politely and say "you mean foursome?" except for the fact that I've never been all that attracted to Julia Roberts. Which is odd...I usually like redheads. Hmm.
