It was the logistics, the scene and the titling of it all that caused me to chuckle
Zooey Deschannel and Katy Perry...
Finally, in the Same Place at the Same Time | Unreality courtesy of Paul Tassi: “For a long time, many people had a theory that Deschanel- - - - - Additionally, there's two sides to the argument (well, there are more, but 'masses' don't really ever come to have definitive opinions on this)... Side A: Zooey Deschanel Wants You To Know That She's Not Katy Perry Side B: Quote:

Huh. I didn't even have time to re-edit this bit in... serves as a thought-expander, nontheless:
I could have added my own thoughts and words on the matter, but the overwhelming consensus here (of which I'm a part of) tells me I ramble. And, really, I could have just stated, 'I agree', and that would have been the overall gist of my contention. How about you? Do you recognize yet also mistake the similarities of one the above doe-eyed singers for the other?

I know I've read that descriptor uttered by MSD somewhere else (fairly recently, if I recall correctly) but without knowing where, exactly, and in passing, I read that funny but true statement, it occured to me let the borrowed phrasing slide. It is still a highly-touted opinion though, that "Zooey has the face, Katy has the body", which I hear repeated in numerous similar iterations.
And I'm glad you brought up the point of dopplegangers, dlish, because one of my weird quirks in this drab life of mine is that I cannot tell most celebrities apart from one another, so instead, I seek to group them together (like I sometimes mistake Dustin Hoffman for Sean Penn, or Zoe Saldanna for Jada Pinkett-Smith, and so on..). Celebrity Look-alikes (oh, of course the last reply to the thread was exactly one year ago - why not?) And while I try to uncover what I'm searching for, I'll leave this piece here as a placemarker: left to right: Lizzy Caplan, Zooey Deschanel, Katy Perry

a funny little random quote I noticed about this "news" that had me rolling, then agreeing.

+1 point towards the contention: this is Emily Blunt. Emily Blunt, Saturday Telegraph Photoshoot (2006)
