Here's a thread for botched auditions. Auditions so bad, they make you cringe.

Apparently Chris Klein can't sing. He proved it to the world when his audition tape for Mama Mia was leaked. Watch it for yourself:

Can I describe a botched audition I was a part of?

When I was in college, actor Henry Polic was holding auditions for something-or-other on our campus, and my best friend's girlfriend asked me to accompany her on her audition. She selected a song, and we rehearsed it pretty well in the days leading up to the audition.

When the big day came, I walked out on stage with her, placed my chair, and sat down with my guitar. I started playing and she started singing, and the song went very well.

When the song was over, Henry Polic started asking me questions about where I was from and where I went to school. After about four of these questions, the girl I accompanied said, "Uh, excuse me, what about me? I was the one auditioning."

At that point, Henry Polic EXPLODED and screamed at her, "Then what the fuck was your accompanist doing sitting center stage?!?! Why in blue fucking Christ did you let your fucking accompanist sit at fucking center stage?!?! If I see someone sitting center fucking stage, then I assume he's the one auditioning. Now get the fuck off my stage, and don't go blaming him, because it's not his fault you're too fucking stupid to place yourself at center fucking stage at your own fucking audition!!!"

I've never forgotten that...
