TVGuide's sexiest women of Sci Fi
Who was number one? It wasn't Eliza Dushku, Tricia Helfer, or Jeri Ryan. It was Lynda Carter, Wonder Woman of the 70s--
I was six years old when Wonder Woman first aired in '75, and I knew even then that she was HOT. Together with Erin Gray from Buck Rogers, she helped jump start my puberty.

what's the "unofficially-recognized" definition of genre: science fiction?
'cause if it's as loose as I'd like it to be, I'll offer up Emily Deschanel, of the "science-centric" forensic fictional drama series, Bones.

Ya know, I didn't find Tricia Helfer attractive at all until she played Gina and Natalie in BSG. Her natural hair color and those glasses.. wow..
My vote goes to Kaylee / Dr. Keller.
