I'm really disappointed by the cancellation. I thought this was a strong show and I really liked the direction they were headed.

Wow, I have watched since the first episode, I liked it a lot and was excited about what was happening this season, very much looking forward to the second half. This is indeed a disappointment, now down to 2 shows I'm following right now, and while The Walking Dead is solid and not going to be canceled, I'm not too sure about V, which is another I like a lot.
Edit: Well this really does suck, it was just canceled yesterday, which is why I hadn't heard I guess. But the way the cancellation is worded makes it sound like the second half of season 2 will still be shown next spring, so maybe, just maybe, a huge uprising of fans will push the ratings through the roof trying to get the last episodes in, and they will be forced to re-order! lol, a stoner can dream Last edited by TheCrimsonGhost; 12-19-2010 at 02:52 PM.. Do they have a plan to replace the show with something? They seriously need new shows on that channel. Its starting to go down the drain. |

Check out Sanctuary. It has Amanda Tapping (Samantha Carter) from SG-1 and it has an interesting x-men-meets-stargate feel.

It aired last night and I really enjoyed it. The Seed ship sacrafice was a bit convenient but the work with the dormant drone was great fun.
Such a shame that it's being cancelled but apparently the ratings just weren't there. The sense I get from reading other forums discussing the show is that the bulk of SG-1 fans rejected its different tone, slower pacing and melodramatic characters stories. I hope the final episode offers a bit of closure and doesn't just leave us hanging.
