My favorite sitcom.
I think Sheldon and Penny need to get together, rather than Leonard and Penny.
More comedy possibilities.

Definitely my favorite show at CBS. I have tried to introduce rock-paper-scissor-lizard-Spock to my friends but to no avail.

I enjoy the show, but I dislike the laugh track.

It make me laughing sooo much because EVERY funny discussion the guys have, expecially Sheldon, I've done it or listened to in my years of Physics study and working. Is sooo exactly like us, and it Frighten me :paranoid:

This is by far my favourite sitcom ever. I've never laughed so hard as when I saw the episode where Sheldon was supposed to learn how to drive. "How did you end up on the second floor of the galleria?" and "I'm too evolved to drive." Comedy at its very best.

Yeah, Jim Parsons pulls off Sheldon like Leonard Nimoy pulled off Mr. Spock.
No other could possibly do them justice.

I really thought that this show was gonna suck eggs. But, I was surprised to find that it is the funniest sitcom that CBS has on the air. I love this show.

On the other hand...as much as I want to like How I Met Your Mother, it really does suck. It only has one redeming quality, and only one reason to still be on the air. And I think that we ALL know what that is. Right? ;)

Love the show. It's unbelievable that there can be someone as socially obtuse as Sheldon, but don't we ALL know someone at least a little bit like him?

I'm ashamed to say that, but:
My girlfriend is practically Sheldon itself (exluded for the geek video-games and tv-series component).

I've let her see the episode when Sheldon tried to make the friend in order to have access to the supercomputing capabilities. When it came the part when he make the flow-chart "how to make friends" and phone to the guy (this one: ). She stopped, turn at me, and said
"You're making me watching this because I'm almost like him?"
"Yes..."
"I'm not like him!"
"Yes, you are..."
"Hell No!! I had figured out the loop counter trick when I was 12"

Classic... especially how Sheldon is completely oblivious to the fact social interactions lie outside the realm of quantitative analysis (unless you're an Isaac Asimov/Hari Seldon/Foundation Series fan ;) ).

My favourite is when his sister is leaving, and says to Sheldon how she always tells her friends how proud she is of her brother the rocket scientist. Sheldon reacts in shock, disgust, and disdain and says (to the effect): "I'm a theoretical physicist! Why don't you just tell them I'm a toll-taker on the Golden Gate Bridge!!"

I love The Big Bang Theory so much. Like most, Sheldon is my favorite character. I'm a little bit ashamed to say that I don't follow the guys conversations when they are nerding out. Which is pretty much all the time. I have to get Martin to translate to me. My favorite example of when he had to translate would be from this clip.

My favorite episode would be The Terminator Decoupling. I love the conversation that Sheldon and Penny have on the phone.

The latest episode is showing Sheldon to be slightly aware of the norm on social etiquette. I like how he's indifferent to his discovery though. :lol:
