Of all time:
Bosom Buddies
St. Elsewhere
Dark Shadows

It was hard to choose-I watched a LOT of tv a long time ago, but the world stopped when St. Elsewhere came on.

Don't wtch much tv now besides races but I got hooked on "The L Word", now in hiatus til August.

Some great choices...especially like your style dlish....most of your picks would also be on a longer list of mine.

I'm going with the following: (I don't watch much TV these days...)

1. Northern Exposure
2. Magnum PI
3. Oz

and as I have two young daughters, I seem to catch a bunch of SpongeBob Square pants, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I quite enjoy this jaunt below the waves ;-)

Favorites . . .

I might have posted to a similar thread like this a long, long, time ago. . . so I hope I am at least a little consistent with that if I did.

Past Favorites:

1978 Battlestar Galactica
Firefly
X-Files

Current:

Naruto (including Shippuden)
Eureka
Stargate Atlantis (?)

Close runner ups for Anime include Cowboy Bebop and Evangelion.

Close runner ups for Sci-Fi are the new BSG and Star Trek: The Next Generation.

I think it's best to separate my current faves from my all-time faves:

Current:

Dexter
Battlestar Galactica
(tie) It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia/30 Rock

Wow, that list reminds me just how much worse the TV landscape has gotten recently. Not too long ago, we had Veronica Mars, West Wing, Scrubs was really good, Deadwood, Sopranos, Six Feet Under...and pretty soon The Shield and BSG are going off the air. Boy oh boy is it up to Joss Whedon and his Dollhouse to bring the average back up or what...

All-Time:

Simpsons (no doubter)
X-Files
Firefly

...just read Ethan's fav list while previewing my post. I swear, I came up with mine on my own!

I tend to watch Naruto in spurts; it's probably time to download some more and watch a streak.
