I used to watch when I liked TV. Then it became inundated with "This is funny because its not" shows. ATHF is the worst.

I only watch the saturday night anime stuff. And family guy. And robot chicken. The rest of their stuff blows.

ATHF, Sealab 2021, Robot Chicken, and Family Guy ftw.

Haven't been able to actually watch AS in awhile though.

I enjoyed Harvey Birdman because of it's uniquely good sense of comedic timing and Venture Brothers honestly evokes belly laughs.

I never really got into ATHF, Robot Chicken, Sealab, or the other, even more absurd shows. I was frustrated by shows like Perfect Hair Forever, Saul of the Mole Men, and Tom Goes to the Mayor because they were, as Halx pointed out, seemingly supposed to be funny because it's not funny.

I really enjoy Friday nights on Adult Swim (Metalocalypse, Lucy-Daughter of the Devil, and anytime they play Venture Bros. I am addicted to Venture Bros.--it is on the same cultural wavelength I ride. How can people not love a show chock-full of Bowie references?! Seriously.

Oddly, I also find myself enjoying Frisky Dingo now and again, but I hate Assy McGee.

Venture Brothers, Metalocalypse, Family Guy (obviously), and ATHF are all great (although ATHF has gotten really weird lately...the first two seasons were by far the best).

Are sealab and Home movies even on anymore? Those were two of my favorites in 2004/5 when I was an Adult Swim Junkie.

However, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Robot Chicken...both seasons purchased on DVD

Oh, and I occasionally catch Bleach/Death Note/Blood+/Lelouch of the Rebellion, but they usually go to slow for me, and only serve to remind me to go watch the episodes I've torrented.

I have never even heard of any of the tv shows mentioned in this thread (except Family Guy and I don't like it). Good thing you mentioned them. Now if someone at work mentions one, I'll know it's a tv show and not a food dish or a sporting event.

I do know who Bob the Builder is, though.

I know, right? Him and Klaus Nomi in the finale sealed the deal. This baby is right below Twin Peaks in my "Most Badass TV Shows Ever, Period" list. Of course, and lest we forget, Bowie made a quick little cameo in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk Within Me, which reveals a lot about my stalker mentality.

Adult Swim go boring though, I love the old stuff (yes, even ATHF), but now it's just straining under its own popularity.

Morel Orel, ATHF, Harvey Birdman, Space Ghost, Brak, Squidbillies, Metalocalypse, Venture Brothers, Frisky Dingo, Sealab, and Lucy: Daughter of the Devil. Getting tired of Family Guy and Robot Chicken. LOVED when they did Cowboy Bebop, but they jumped around so much episode-wise, that it became a nuisance to try and watch it. Same for Full Metal Alchemist (which I watched only because I've had a long-term interest in Alchemy and spent my time looking for actual parallels).

What on earth is ATHF?

I don't really watch TV, but I have downloaded some Robot Chicken and all the Metalocalypse, both are hilarious, but best taken in small doses.

I find if humorous that Metalocalypse is a joke, and yet if you go to an underground metal show that is how much of those people act, they think its cool.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aqua_Teen_Hunger_Force It is impossible to summarize the absurdity that is ATHF, but the first 2 seasons are good, and I recommend watching those.

I can say the same with a 1 year old at home obsessed with 'Bob Builder'. That main song and the MASH theme get her attention instantly.

I have seen snippets of all of their shows and the only ones I like are Robot Chicken (love that), Harvey Birdman, and parts of Family Guy - I can take only so much of that humour. Anything else that has appealed to me slips my mind right now.

edit: They have aired Cowboy Bebop? I absolutely love that, it is one of the select few Anime productions that I enjoyed (as in bought whole set and watched the film). The other being Ghost in the Shell.

Robot Chicken and Family Guy. I love, love, love them both!!! The others don't do a thing for me. I tried ATHF, and I just sat there, blinking.
