Has anyone seen the new movie Blood Rayne 2? I was thinking of getting it but wanted to ask around first.

Prophecy

Generally speaking this film has two strikes against it before you even sit down to watch it.

1) It's a film based on a video game franchise. With the random exception here and there films based on video games are not great, good or even decent. They're bad and horrible.

2) It's a film directed by Uwe Boll. Boll is one of those directors that people(gamers) love to hate and with good reason. He's turned several games into below average films.

However, back on topic of Blood Rayne 2, I have not seen this film so I'm not going to bash it or praise it directly. Instead I'll do this, below is a link to the comments section on the Internet Movie Database. The film currently has a 4.9/10 score after 1,738 votes.

Make that 4.1 out of 10 But hey, that's better than the first Bloodrayne movie which has a 2.6 out of 10!

God I hate Uwe Boll.

thats the only thing that'll make me watch a video game movie anymore, it's the only reason I sat through tomb raider.

But I love Angelina Jolie so it was worth seeing her like you know, 500x her real human size.

No one else read the reviews and saw this as an opportunity for Beatty to come back to ... no where? I don't even know if this is MST3K'able.

It is in fact WORSE than the original. Bloodrayne fights Billy the Kid. Who is a vampire. And yet somehow, it's still downhill from there.
For crying out loud they didn't even keep Kristanna Loken as Bloodrayne, which was one of the best things the first one had going for it.

I thought the first Bloodrayne was at least humorously campy, and Kristanna Loken is a fox. Bloodrayne: Deliverance made me want to find Uwe Boll and set him on fire.



AND DEAR GOD, HE'S MAKING A THIRD ONE. O_o
Uwe Boll must be stopped.
