need help finding a painter!
And I have tried on myown before asking here, so if you want to reply just to suggets that, please be assured I thought of it first!
I really want to find more details about who painted this picture. Its from the cover of the UK Penguin edition of The Brothers Karamazov http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0...478575-3322258 ... this is my favourite book, and I would love to see if I could get a print of this painting, but I dont even know who its by, and the copy I have isnt the Penguin one and my local bookstore doesnt have this copy, and I dont want to buy one just to read who painted it if i can help it... ach, nevermind... the back page is viewable on amazon.co.uk as well, and it gives the painter there! .... Leonid Pasternak its perfect.

I'm reading it at the moment. The same edition as well. I must say that it's already my favourite book.
I really like Dostoyevky (I've read Crime and Punishment and The Devils). His characters have a certain complexity about them in their mental processes. Something they have difficulty breaking free from, particulary if it has led them down a tragic path.
