I missed the premier but caught most of last night's show... I guess Survivor is just growing old for me. No matter how many twists they throw in or what the mix of contestants... it's still the same old formula.

It is interesting to watch game shows like Survivor and The Weakest Link as they progress. In the beginning the strong players are valuable and usually protected because they win challanges in Survivor and build up the pot in The Weakest Link.

Usually the weaker players realize the only way they can win is to band together and get rid of the stronger ones. In Survivor, winning challanges and doing the most work around camp will only get you so far. It seems like the most valuable skills in Survivor are gossip and deceit. The trick in the end is to do this without pissing off the jury as much as the other remaining survivor.

I forgot that I am still watching this show--I suppose you all did too.

if you mean not turning on Todd/Amanda, i disagree. With the "Final 3" going before the jury now, she only needs to make the Final four and win one immunity challenge. Yes, she may have gone to the Final 3 with Pei-ghe (sp?) and Erik, but there is no guarantee Erik would have won the tie-breaker challenge.

In other words, here are the 2 possible scenarios (and consequences) she had to evaluate:

1. Stick with alliance, make Final 4.

Best Case: Wins final immunity, becomes finalist

Worst Case: Goes out at 4

2. Vote against alliance, forcing tiebreak

Best Case: Erik wins tiebreak, Todd out, goes to Final 3 (but has Todd/Amanda/Courtney not voting for her for the $1M)

Worst Case: Todd wins tiebreak, alliance pissed, goes out 5th

The truth is, no one wants her in the final 3 with them

I really hope Amanda wins. I hope Denise gets tossed out next. I can't stand her. She had another chance to earn my respect tonight and failed.

I'm looking forward to what could be a very angry jury. Jean-Robert, Peih-Gee, James, maybe Todd, maybe Courtney. I love bitter juries.

I'm also curious to see how Amanda looks at the reunion. I hope she doesn't tart it up like so many other girls do.

Well. I Totally thought that Todd was going to win although I preferred Amanda. I'm suprised that Courtney beat her in the votes.

Denise is a complete and total moron. The reason that 'she sucks at life' are very apparent to me.

I wonder who is gonna win the 100k, I would assume James.....

My pick for the whole show was James from the beginning and then Todd as secondary so I'm happy with how it ended. I think Todd deserved it more than anyone besides James. Yes he backstabbed and lied his way to the top 3, but guess what, you're there to win a freaking game worth $1,000,000, not play nice. Todd played to win and it worked.
